Island Grill offers a good dining experience with its good food selection and attentive service. The menu boasts a variety of dishes. While the quality of the food and service is commendable, it's worth noting that the prices are on the higher side. While many patrons are willing to pay a premium for exceptional food and service, it's essential that the overall value matches the cost. In this case, while the quality may not justify the price for some, others may find it a bit steep for what they receive. One aspect that was particularly disappointing during the visit was the restaurant's handling of the Happy Hour promotion. Despite arriving just five minutes before the Happy Hour ended at 7:00 pm, the staff refused to honor the deal when we attempted to order drinks with our meal at 6:55 pm. This refusal to accommodate customers so close to the end of the promotion window can leave a sour taste in the mouths of patrons, especially when they've made an effort to take advantage of the advertised special. Overall, while the restaurant provided good food and attentive service, the reluctance to honor the Happy Hour deal so close to its expiration time detracts from the overall experience. It's essential for establishments to uphold their advertised promotions to maintain trust and loyalty among their customer base. Hopefully, this issue can be addressed to ensure a consistently positive experience for all patrons. Thank you for responding, but it seems you misunderstood. All I can say is YUMMY! As a service provider, I believe in excellence and greatness. I received both. The service was excellent and the food was GREAT. One of best halal fine dine place in spring. The interior and location is super cool. Their outdoor eating experience is nice. You need to order at counter and they serve. The food options are good. My best food so far has been Mediterranean salad and gyro pita sandwich. Their pita is soft and gyro is tender, no dryness! Came here for breakfast and drinks. There are great options for health conscious eaters, which can be tough to find here! Great little spot, the folks working here are very nice and the food is great. I went here almost every morning for breakfast during my work trip here. As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted with a smile and a welcoming hello which made us excited to eat here. Our cashier customer service was amazing and she was very knowledgeable of the menu. The restaurant is so clean and well kept. The food was hot, fresh and delicious along with the fresh squeezed grapefruit juice and cappuccino. We really enjoyed everything and will be back soon! I travel for work and I found this little gem a few trips ago. Now I book my hotel nearby so I can eat here. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are spot on. I'm a healthy eater so I appreciate the quality of food and balance of flavors. Big shout out to David! His drinks are some of the best I've had. I love this restaurant so much. Best dishes has got to be the greek salad and the kabob plate!! I’m my opinion, it was a little messy trying to eat everything on top of a quarter cut pita. If you are a messy eater like me, maybe go for the whole gyro so it’s easier to eat with less mess. I think the kabob plate is better than the mediterranean plate because it has more veggies and it’s more moist, but the meats are larger. If you can’t finish a whole plate, definitely share with a friend and just order more pitas, that way there are no leftovers! And I really like the greek salad. Tzatziki sauce and the feta is perfection. Don’t forget free frozen yogurt!! I HIGHLY recommend. If you’ve never eaten here you are missing out!! I arrived to a clean and warm feeling building after searching for a Mediterranean restaurant near me. I got lucky as someone was backing out of a parking spot in front of the restaurant. The place looked bright and brand new. The staff seemed very knowledgeable about the menu items plus everything looked well maintained. I ordered the Mediterranean Plate and I feel the ingredients tasted fresh and well prepared. I look forward to eating there again and trying other dishes. First time eating at this restaurant. Casual yet deliciously prepared plates like you would get at a table service spot. Easy eating for families or just want something casual. You order at the counter and they bring your food and silverware out. Service was phenomenal! The Mediterranean plate was delicious served with gyro meat and chicken. Gyro meat was flavorful and chicken was tender without being dry. The Greek salad it came with was divine. My friend got the gyro plate and was also delicious! Their smoothies were not overly sugary or sweet. Highly recommend and look forward to returning to try more on their menu.
