Good pizza and salad. I really enjoyed their homemade wine. The pizza crust got kinda soggy near the end. Otherwise it tasted great and the atmosphere was nice with a view of the square.
Great pizza, very nice server, convenient location, good prices.

Absolutely delicious food, really nice staff, however the thing that ruined the experience was that even though we pre booked a table on a quiet Sunday; we waited over an hour for food to arrive. Unsure if this wait time was normal, but sadly I need to bump this down from an easy 5 star to a 4 star just because of that wait time on food. A shame honestly as everything else was lovely. Staff have apologized and explained so we very much appreciate that, we'll be returning in the future to give it another go as the food was lovely!

Nestled in the historic center of Boleslawice, Poland. This area is known for Polish ceramics and there are many shops selling their designs. Great pizza and excellent service with nice outdoor seating and view of the central plaza of the town. Highly recommend a walk around this are as there are some unique historical landmarks and other things to see.
The system doesn’t allow you to give less than one star, but this place doesn’t deserve that one either. This review is all about the service, or better, the lack of: upon arrival, the server saw us but chose to ignore us. Obviously she was already overwhelmed by the 9 customers seated in the veranda. In the meantime a second server arrives on duty (we can assume, since she had the handbag and some keys in her hand).
Eventually we are seated and given the menus.
Few moments later, the first server comes by to take the order, which we keep as simple as possible because we can see that she’s not writing it down (btw, why aren’t servers using pen and paper if they don’t have an electronic ordering system? Punctually we get our orders wrong...). We got the drinks: again, 2 glasses piled inside one another in one hand, 2 bottles of Coke in the other; perhaps using a tray is asking too much. Obviously half of the pizza order is forgotten, but we were expecting that for the reasons mentioned above, so we gladly repeat it.
A tall and narrow basket makes its appearance at the table, some napkins inside, no sign of the cutlery that is supposed to be in there.
Eventually the pizzas arrive, slammed on the table. The server mentions something about oil, I don’t speak Polish so I don’t understand, but neither does my Polish partner. So he asks her to repeat, which she does very snotty. He asks her to bring the cutlery. Star answer: “I bring it to you if you ask me nicely”.
So, here we go again, once more the scenario that we keep experiencing in restaurants and bars: the waiters are doing you a favour because you, the paying customer, are actually bothering them.
We didn’t even touch the pizzas, we stood up from the table and left. The other server was trying to pacify us and whilst we were talking to her, the first server interrupted her and actually said “you can say whatever you want, but I’m the owner’s girlfriend”. I think that explains it all.
Shame, because we were really looking forward to trying their pizza which we heard so much about it, and we are sure it is good.
My wife and I were lucky enough to stumble upon this restaurant during our week’s vacation to the region. We’re both Pizza connoisseurs and can honestly say that these are among some of the best we have eaten; in our five day stay we visited Jak W Dym three times. Amazing hospitality too, Paul the owner made us feel very much ‘at home’, even going so far as to bring out a table for us as the restaurant was so full it couldn’t accommodate anymore customers.
