Went to Jakers for a work Christmas party and was really impressed. The steak bite appetizer was amazing. Also loved the cheesecake. Will definitely be back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

This place has great food and drinks. The staff are professional and friendly. Savannah (bar tender) was excellent at helping us (out of towners) with making the right menu choices. We went with the fillet blackened on one side. It was our second choice given that the cap steaks were sold out. Try the dragon tails if you've never had them. Thank you so much! It's one of the best steak houses we've been to. Great steak, good appetizers, drinks, and salad were outstanding. Our server did a great job. Garlic shrimp steak is one of the best! We are staying at the Best Western across the street, and the receptionist recommended Jakers. Excellent recommendation from food to service. My husband ordered the 7oz fresh salmon on a bed of rice with a side of mashed potatoes. The salmon had the perfect amount of char and was cooked perfectly. I ordered the blackened chicken alfredo with mushrooms and zucchini. It was a large portion and enough for two full meals. Leftovers for the win! The warm scones (Rhodes rolls) with honey butter served before dinner were delicious! We also had the chicken tortilla soup, which was definitely a comfort food. It came with chips all around the edge of the bowl. The Huckleberry moscow mule was also an excellent choice as they used 44° Huckleberry vodka. Our server, Jadyn, was very friendly and bubbly. Jakers definitely has their marketing setup for making it known that "you haven't been to Idaho until you've been to Jakers" and well after some recommendations made a trip here. Outside of the restaurant is reminiscent of a law office or dental office, however, once inside the experience itself was very reassuring. Food was really quite good, the appetizers were small for the asking price, but definitely enjoyable. The main course hit the spot; the steak was cooked perfectly and sourced by a local supplier? Also, our waitress was extremely polite throughout the whole ordeal, impressed for sure! I will make mention of this, not a cheap 'lunch' or 'dinner' option by any means, but worth a visit for sure! Jakers prices are a little on the high side, but are well worth it. Very good selection, large portions, and meat cooked as ordered. You might want to split the salads as they are very large! I was very much impressed with the Prime rib. Atmosphere is great and staff was right on top of things. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The whole place was over the top good. The service by Jordan was over and beyond good. The food was delicious. I totally would recommend getting the creme brulee. My husband would recommend the halibut and the calamari. The caramel apple martini was so good I don't even think I came up from air when I started to drink it. The cost is worth it.

I’ll have to say best pasta I’ve had in a while. The clam chowder was perfectly seasoned with what I believe was chili powder and it was absolutely delicious. The servers were amazing and friendly and on top of everything just making this a wonderful thing pace to stop for a meal. 100% recommend.
