They take a while to get the food when you dine in but it’s delicious. The food is fresh and delicious just fantastic overall you will come back. Wish it had a fountain soda machine and lower the tv volume. Waffle is freshly made just outstanding.

Cute little spot in an out of the way location. The food is great, but don't expect any meat outside of chicken. The sides are excellent. I would almost kill for those fried biscuits 😋 and the waffles are absolutely to die for. 2 thumbs 👍👍 up

Chicken Wings and Waffle with Fries
When I was working in the area I stoped in for my first time , I transferred out of the area but I kept thinking about how good the wings are, today I had the excuse out Christmas shopping to find my self In the area for lunch, now I’m just mad that it has taken me this long to get back , I had there special 2 waffles and 10 wings, it turned out to be enough to take home and enjoy later tonight, and I’m going to make a point to go back again for more
PS : it’s Far for me but totally worth it

I order here whenever I go to Dickinson. They never disappoint. Flavors are always consistent and that's a plus because a lot of mom and pop shops are consistent when it comes to the flavor of their food but Jaquay's know how to deliver the flavor every time !!

Visiting Galveston/Texas City and was on the search for black owned eateries for lunch. My mouth was watering from the pictures and reviews so we had to go find this place. Unfortunately, they were closed and I did not get to try them out. We will be back this way at some point and can't wait to experience this eatery.
Being my first time there it was a cool experience & good food with great customer service! I think I ordered the wrong chicken wings was expecting Whole Wings , but I didn’t specify that when I ordered. I got my son the 8 piece chicken with waffles in which he stated was FIRE which means that it was Really gOoD!! The fried biscuits was good & the dirty rice was okay but, I definitely won’t be getting it next time I come. I got the dirty rice with the 6 piece wings in which I thought was WHOLE Wings, only wing pieces🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️. In which was really seasoned good & I should have double checked my order to make sure that I got what I really wanted to get. Lesson learned ! Overall I would definitely recommend this place for awesome food & customer service!💯💯

Went here for the first time today and it was great. A little bit of a wait for the food but worth it. I wish the prices were a little cheaper especially for the sides but it's always nice to support a local black owned business. I will be back with family and friends.

This was my second time eating here, the first time was during COVID and I believe they were just opening. My nephew really enjoyed the chicken and waffles on that visit(he didn't want to share)!!! The second visit I dined in, not a very big place, but perfect for a solo lunch. The owner and the woman taking my order were very friendly and I felt welcomed, like I was at home watching TV and eating lunch! The wings were AMAZING! I enjoyed the lemon pepper, I will definitely have to try the other flavors. The meat was falling off of the bone and not an over powering lemon pepper flavor. Cooked perfectly! The house-made tea is VERY addicting!! I was expecting a regular sweet tea but I was pleasantly surprised it was a flavored tea, peach maybe? I tasted other flavors but couldn't put my finger on it. A perfect addition to my meal! Really enjoyed my visit and meal here. If you're in a hurry order ahead, I don't mind waiting for hot,fresh food! I actually prefer knowing my meal will be hot and fresh but I know not everyone feels the same. Will definitely be back, ready to try more flavors!!

The wings are delicious. I got the dirty rice also. Both were delicious. I ordered 6 lemon pepper wings combo for $16. The flavor and dirty rice was an extra $2. I think this should be stated on the menu for seasoning and sides upcharge. Other group members had children and waffles. That looked delicious. I think I'll try that dish on my next visit. Great food.

Came from Galveston to eat here. The drive was worth it they had about an hour til close and let us sit and eat inside. The chicken was good I literally couldn't stop eating it and that drizzle on the waffle ooweee man look please stop if you're in the area you will not be disappointed. Everything is cooked to order so expect a wait but the wait is worth it. Almost forgot order the tea,thank me later!!!!
