Love the wild veggies and their sesame oil noodles! We also had the fried codfish, which was the best dish out of the stuff tried for 2 pax. Red tea is free flow here (self serve). It’s not worth the price. Three dishes and one drink for 830 NTD?? The fried pigeon was one of their ‘specialities’, but it was too dry and the meat did not taste fresh. The vegetables dishes were good, the especially the chillies (in season). Not very accomodating to solo travellers, in terms of portion or prices. This place specializes in 野菜 which translates to “wild veggies”. You seriously won’t find the veggies served here anywhere outside of the Yanming Mountain area. There was a 檳榔花 (betel nut flower) dish that I’ve never seen anywhere else before and it was like a tastier version of bamboo shoots. Everything on the menu was delicious and affordable. When I eat Chinese food with family we usually only do 1-2 veggie dishes to share but we ordered 4 veggie dishes here and regretted nothing. The yam ginger soup is also a treat. Wish I could come here all the time! Getting here is a bit of a hassle if you don’t have a car, but you can take a bus to Zhuzi Lake.

The chicken was pretty good, but unfortunately they don’t have smaller size chicken option on the menu. I went there with my gf, ordered roughly 850, too full lol Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $600–800

The outdoor stone seatings may look uncomfortable but are in fact very cooling and nice to sit on. The hot pot soup is clean and nice to drink. The other food items I tried are rather nice as well.
