Outstanding meal! Very simple outdoor setting with fresh and beautifully prepared seafood & salads. The tapas portions of the garlic shrimp & octopus were both very generous, fresh and tasty. The salad was also very fresh and delicious. Friendly and helpful service too. Highly recommended.

Petit bémol : odeur de friture détectée sur mon gilet en sortant.

A great place. The waiters were nice and attentive, and knew how to speak English. Unfortunately the light went out twice during our dinner and we had to wait quite some time for food to arrive, but the food itself was great! I definitely recommend it, I believe we came on an unlucky day.

Excellent food and service. Good prices and location. Without doubts a recommended restaurant in the area. Shrimps and tamboril rice with a Portuguese wine was our option. We'll come back soon.

OMG, this tiny, unassuming restaurant serves the best food we have eaten in Portugal. We ordered three tapas: roasted padron peppers, gratinéed scallops, and roasted pork belly. The scallops (sauced with some miraculous essence of the North Atlantic Ocean) and the pork belly (served on a purée of chestnuts and leeks) were so good that we were laughing at our good luck, and the peppers were perfect palate cleansers. We drank several glasses of a white wine that Joana herself recommended, which perfectly complemented the food. Children played on the patio as dusk fell, and we thanked our good fortune at discovering this unpretentious gem.

Joana is a fantastic chef who knows how to balance flavours to create the best Portuguese food experience. On top of that, she is a great person with a good sense of humour. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is situated in a small fishing town. Don't miss out!
