The food was amazing I highly recommend the tagliatelle mushroom pasta. My only complaint is that my partner was charged $12 when he asked about substituting asparagus for broccoli and we weren’t told that it would be an additional charge (they didn’t even eat the broccoli) and when we asked about it we were brushed off. Visited Joe Bella’s this Sunday night for a dinner. While the entrance was slightly cramped, the layout of the restaurant was good and the place looked very nice. We ordered a special as the appetizer, The Fried Burrata Salad, which was fried burrata over arugula, tomatoes, and onion with a balsamic glaze. It was very good. For our entrees we went with the Tagliatelle Mushroom Pasta and the Gemelli with Sweet Fennel Sausage. Both entrees were well cooked and delicious with the Tagliatelle Mushroom Pasta being the standout dish. For drinks we had the Cosmo Bianco which was decent (on the strong side) and the White Sangria which was great. We were happy to find a new go-to italian restaurant so close to home. The staff was very nice and the service was good as well. We look forward to our next meal. Service is always great here. It’s a little crowded when you first walk in but once you are seated it’s comfortable. The penne vodka is consistently good. The chicken parm was good too. Everything was great except the lighting. My husband and I are in our late eighties and we need a good amount of light to read the menus and enjoy the food. We had the meatballs & garlic bread to start. Garlic bread was delicious! The meatballs were okay, we didn’t like the sauce:tasted like just canned tomatoes. For dinner we had the chicken parmigiana & chicken Asiago. The chicken Asiago was delicious, and the chicken parmigiana was okay. Again the sauce was the same as the meatballs which was a drawback. Cozy little Italian restaurant with excellent food. Pasta is freshly made and cooked perfectly. I had the braised short rib, which was so tender it fell apart with just a fork. The signature drinks were creative and delicious. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu and maybe to try out the happy hour deals. Overall, my experience for the most part was really good, but my husband and I were a little bit disappointed with our food though. However, our friends were very happy with theirs! I was disappointed by the menu description and what my food came out like, because it really didn't seem to match; I wouldn't have ordered it had I know. I got the Lobster Aragosta it said "cream sauce," but it was all tomato and chunky, so I was missing the cream part and white; I usually avoid tomato based sauce. My husband got chicken Parm and he said his tomatoes had a metallic taste, I told him my dish too, so that was unfortunate. Aside, from our meals not being great, we enjoyed our appetizers, cocktails, and our servers. If you like to drink cocktails, be sure not to drink too many, they are a bit pricey. First time there. Fast and friendly staff and service. Food was pretty good. Pork chop was moist and tender, came with broccoli that has a smoky roasted flavor, very good. The chicken parm was good and was not overloaded with pasta. Both meals were just the right amount. Rustic interior looks really nice. Only criticism is the music. It was a techno type and you could only hear the beat in a loop. Like when your next to a car and all you can hear is the speaker beating and thumping. Now it wasn't too loud, but it was hard to talk between the music and others talking. Acoustics were not great. Maybe if seated in the back area it might not be so bad. We went on a double date and had a blast! The staff is so friendly and accommodating and the food was all so good. My beef carpaccio was delicious. The charcuterie board was beautiful and my truffle pasta was outstanding. Let's not forget the cocktails - we were all more than pleased! The Pompeii Escape, Winter Cosmo and Sugar Cookie dessert drink were super yummy! I can't wait to go back! Update! 12/10/22 - we went for a banquet event and the food and service was amazing! First time there and it exceeded all expectations. Celebrated Dad and Ann's 30th Anniversary with a delicious meal with excellent service from Nicole and her colleague. We will all be back. Be forewarned that the Veal Milanese is enormous (and worth every calorie)
