We had a great experience in our first time at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the friendly atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Needless to say, Johnny Paisano's has 2 new regular customers.

When one door closes another opens and the Universe has done well for our local Restaurateurs, Johnny and Christine Minicozzi.
You won't find the famous "Johnny Paisano" on Baltimore Pike anymore.
Not even in a small location on Leamy Ave.
Find them where Staples and Giant are at Sproul/Rt 420, Springfield Shopping Center, 751 Sproul Road, Springfield, 19064.
Johnny's new location is now open, comfortable, with pleasant personnel and still the very best Italian Food in the area.
Great seating, plus catering, takeout and refrigerators stocked with soups and easy to take home foods.
I used his catering for my Sister's Funeral 9/2023 and people are still talking about the quality food they delivered.
Come back, I did with the juiciest mushroom cheese pizza steak. Delizioso

We had dinner here last night. The service was great and like that we can sit where we want to and BYOB. My wife had the Tortellini with Bolognese sauce it was very good and a huge portion. I wanted the Traditional Meat Lasagna but they we out. Our waitress suggested Meaty Ziti it was very good and a huge portion. We had an order of meatballs they were good. I had a side Caesars salad was not very good just a small bowel of chopped romaine lettuce and croutons with a small cup of dressing. We took home part of both our meals and the bread and are getting 2 meals each out of dinner. We are so happy that they opened up their new restaurant. And looking forward to their new eat in dinner only menu coming soon.

Love this place! Personalized service A+. I get food delivered to my family in Springfield whenever they are not feeling well or just need some top notch meals. Johnny and Christine could not be more of a pleasure to work with. EXTREMELY ACCOMMODATING!

We have eaten there many times before but we wont be going back for a long time. Called at 2 o'clock for a 6 o'clock pickup sat there for 40 minutes before leaving. I ordered a salad and a entrée I understand your busy and working out the kinks as I was told but a 4 hour notice to a small order is totally ridiculous. I have worked in kitchens and still do its uncalled for.

We were just out running around in our new neighborhood and stumbled upon Johnny Paisano's. Wow, we were so pleased. In this challenging time, they had excellent food, service, and cleanliness. The food was so good and the quantity, well, let's just say, theres plenty for another meal. The salad was fresh, tuna wrap was wonderful w lots of tuna and fresh veggies on it. Had lasagna again, delish, and chicken parmesan, yummy! The garlic bread was so great too! The owners are so kind and made time to come talk w us. My mom and great Aunt both loved it too, such a nice lunch!

I used Johnny’s for a work event for Springfield Rehabilitation. Their attention to detail and consideration for what we needed to accomplish was game changing. We received so many compliments about the food and the presentation was so perfect. I would definitely recommend using Johnny’s for your next corporate or personal event . Together Johnny and Christine know exactly how to put together what you need.
First time ordering from here and had takeout. The Chicken Mozzarella was Awesome. Cheese steak sandwich was delicious, yes I couldn't resist asking to try a sliver heehee even if it was on a seeded roll. Definitely will try more things from here.

This is the best cheesesteak no one is talking about. I knew it was going to be a special day because I was with special guest eater Michael Opelka. This was Cheesesteak #400. Three Springfield police officers were eating at Johnny's. This was such a great experience I do not know where to begin. Johnny Paisano’s very unassuming place tucked away between a bunch of other stores on Baltimore Pike. The roll was an amazing sesame seed roll. The meat was chopped, tender, juicy and a pleasure to eat. The fried onions and peppers were nice big chunks and I love nice big chunks, especially when they're flavorful and they sat on the grill for a little bit so they blended in well with everything else. Very good amount of cheese and it was melted perfectly into the whole cheesesteak. This is one of those times were great ingredients meet a talented caring person that knows how to put them together. ‘Brotherly love’ is the secret ingredient in great cheesesteaks. Thank you Michael Opelka! You were a pleasure to have on the adventure.
