Young female bartender was extremely rude when trying to order a drink. It took me 5 seconds to think about what I wanted and she got annoyed and moved onto the next customer without taking my order. Anyone in Junction on a busy night knows how frustrating it can be to have to wait to get their attention at the bar, especially if you’re not a regular frat guy that can catch the female bartenders attention based on that alone. Overall, terrible professionalism, service, and attentiveness.
Was there for my birthday. Super fun! They have some fun and amazing shots, the DJ killed it, and Megan the girl working at the bar next to the dance floor was the best!! The only bad thing was my friend lost her ID and only a couple of the employees actually looked for it when we asked if the had one.
I’m giving this place five stars because I still work here but I have some grievances that NEED to be addressed.
I held off writing this review because I hoped things would change, but the blatant disrespect has become too much to bear.
As many of you know, our manager also DJs at our establishment. While usually this is fine, he has taken his position as a glorified aux chord to new levels. He now believes he is the second coming of DJesus Christ, and is too good to take song requests from one of his most dedicated staff members, me.
Now, these aren’t just any songs that I am requesting. The two songs I request are “All For You” by Janet Jackson and “The Bad Touch” by Bloodhound Gang, which combined have more cultural impact than the moon landing. I know it’s shocking that someone would deny the crowd this level of greatness, but it has happened time and time again.
DJ Mookie is reminiscent of early Diplo (if you put him through a blender, without his talent), but this fatal flaw is just too much to ignore anymore.
So, if you’re looking for a great place to go out with exceptional bartenders and an off-brand Calvin Harris who doesn’t play the great requests I’ve mentioned as entertainment, this is your place.
Was at the bar. Spent money. Paid a $3 cover. Came outside to smoke. Nobody was at the door to give me a stamp therefore didn't know I needed one. I came back inside and was told I had to pay another cover, told I was lying about paying a cover because the woman didn't remember me. Absolute trash.
Would have given a 4 but after paying a cover and getting a few drinks i went out for a smoke and then had to wait in line to come back in. I haven't returned since. I will go to places that arent there just for my cover charge then treat me like they don't want my service after they get my money.
Unbelievable. Your young college age female bartender waived her hands at me signaling me to hurry up and order my drink within 5 seconds. She needs to be fired.
Bartenders were more interested in conversations with there friends and giving away free drinks then helping anyone else that came to the bar. Will not return.
