Simply unforgettable. The team at K2 catered at our villa for a special birthday dinner. Service was top class and left us wanting nothing. We delved into an experience led menu, getting involved in making Melanesian cuisines such as coconut cream and simboro. Followed by a traditional kava ceremony and a dinner for the ages. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to add authentic flavours, awesome people and a friendly smile to their Vanuatu trip. Thank you for making our night so special K2 - the family just loved it.

K2 Kitchen hasn’t changed much in the last five years. The roasted lamb rump souvlaki (1950VT) called to me once again after a week of eating the island mainstays: poulet fish and Santo beef. The puffy flatbread came stuffed full of charred hunks of lamb, herbed tabouli, garlic hummus and minted yoghurt, making it exceedingly messy to eat. Friendly staff descended with more serviettes without being summoned.
The beef brisket sandwich (1750VT) leaks smoky chilli sauce like a tropical storm. It’s joined by pickled cabbage and mustard mayo. in a toastie of home-style bread. Both came with small, over-cooked baskets of French fries: no matter the sandwich and souvlaki were plenty big enough to meet our needs. We accompanied them with gin & juice (1500VT): nicely sharp concoction of gin, Champagne, grapefruit juice and gin-soaked prunes. The only negative was the very persistent flies who showed a strong preference for swimming in them.
Before you leave, take a wander around the nicely kitted out converted warehouse to view the local handicrafts and well-loaded cake cabinet, just in case you need something for the slow and dusty drive back into town.

The food was tasty and comes in good quantities.
The service was fast, we paid VT 7,600 (about A$ 95) for 2 Poke Bowls, 1 KFC Burger Special, 1 Bowl of Hot Chips as well as soft drinks.
I just wished my burger also came with other ingredients than just chicken and salad, but definitely a good restaurant located at a 5-minute from the international airport.

We had the catering service and omg...outstanding is just the start of it. We wanted the BBQ pack with the pork ribs however they unfortunately weren't available so we got the pork belly instead and let me tell you, they were sensational along with the other goodies that came in the pack!
Do yourself a favour and don't waste your time and money going elsewhere because you won't find a better meal anywhere else and trust me...we are very fussy eaters and loath paying a high price for something you can't even finish...you can thank me later 😊

The Brisket Sandwich is insane. Hubby had the daily special burrito equally as good.

We have been in Vanuatu for over 4 months and just discovered this place. Honestly, we would have rated this more stars if we could’ve. If you’re a tourist just coming in, spend the extra for a bus or taxi over here—it’s worth it!
The breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus are served all day. My wife got the avo smash breakfast and I got the Kokonut Fried Chicken (KFC). The KFC was seriously the best cooked chicken anywhere in Vanuatu. It came with beautifully crisp kumala chips, flavorful zesty coleslaw, and a delicious chili jam for dipping the chook and/or chips.
The restaurant itself has a beautiful, modern industrial look. It looks unassuming from the road, but is an amazing surprise when you step inside. There’s a book section to browse with plenty of books on the history of Vanuatu (if you’re interested in that, like I am!) and a play area for kids. Definitely come and give it a visit.

Had the best breakfast there today. We were welcomed by the staff and bought menus and cold water straight away, my husband and I both loved the food, I ordered something from the lunch menu but that wasn't a problem. The food was delicious and the coffee is amazing and well priced. K2 seems a bit more special than other cafes around Port Vila. Our new favourite place!
