This is the 3rd Kaara Saaram outlet I've visited in the past one year. It's almost similar to the Puchong one but looks more spacious with simple interior. We tried Tiruvizha Sapadu (Chicken) for the first time. The gravy was superb. Chicken pieces were also well cooked. Worth the price. Efficient & fast service by the staff. Friendly and courteous too. Food is okay, Many sitting area. Nothing much. Se ordered kam heong shellout for 2 pax. got 3 prawn,1 crab, some squids and lala. taste is so-so. Drank Jeera water for Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Chicken 65
My friend recommended this place and checked the review and my other friend just happened to be there recently (based on her review). Check with her and decide to give this place a try. Had the Mutton Nalli Varuval (looked more wet than it should) but it was not worth the RM40 paid for it. The Chicken Thiruvizha was good for 2 of us but the gravy was too much. Ask them to just place the claypot on the side and it's better that you self-serve on the amount you need. Yet no complaint on the potion, price and the taste. It was nice. The star of the show is the Chicken 65, which was good to the last bite. Juicy and flavourful. RM12 for 6pcs is justified for the taste alone. Additional rice is RM2, applam was extra. Total damage for 2 person was close to RM100. For the operator - consider free flow veg & rice, it would be better. Price per person RM 80–100 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes Chicken 65
First time at Kaara Saaram@Kota Kemuning. Went for early lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Tried the satti sooru for the first time, and it wasn’t disappointing. Roti canai and mutton curry was up to par as the one i tried at Sunway branch. Chicken 65, the meat was tender and not chewy. After the meal, we had masala tea and i really enjoyed it as it had the right amount of sweetness and spice. Mooru ice didn’t give me the kick i was looking for compared to the one i had at Sunway branch. Service was fast and good. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

Tried mutton tiruvizha sapadu. Mutton cooked well and less fat. Gravy was thick and spicy and tastier than my previous kaaram saaram branch visit. Nice atmosphere and less traffic due to shop lot location. Child friendly restaurant. Mutton nalli gravy was superb. for #lunchtime we headed to #kaarasaaram. The latest branch in #kotakemuning where I reside, like, within a fifteen minutes drive. We were seated in this basic no frill #ambiance and from the #menu, we ordered Mutton Sattisorru (small) - RM18.00 #chicken65 - RM12.00 And to our surprise, you need to order #veggie separately, and the only and one choice was mushy cabbage - RM2.00. For washing down - #mineralwater - RM1.50 Food verdict - chicken 65 was quite, a #delight. Anyway, anything fried and eaten immediately has to be worthy in the mouth right? Mutton Rice - mmmmmm!! Edible. I say nothing more. Cabbage - like what? I don’t even know what to say. Maybe, the basic veggie. Will we return again? I doubt.
A very basic shop, nothing fancy. Price to me is a bit on the high side. I guess it's OK if you are in groups, surely too exp for a solo meal. Ordered the large chicken Claypot. Serving was big enough for 3 pax. Had the chicken 65 as well. And ordered a side serving of cabbage and aplum. Bru coffee was pretty good. Strongly recommended to end a meal with.
