In terms of my overall experience, it was rather average. The service, on the whole, was good; however, we did experience a 20-minute wait before we could place our food order, mainly due to the delay in someone attending to our table, and they forgot to bring us chai. Nevertheless, once our order was placed, the food arrived promptly, and they made several follow-up visits to check on us. Speaking of the cuisine, it was satisfactory, although I had hoped for more robust flavors in the biryanis. The presentation of desserts left room for improvement. The ambiance was passable, while the prices were on the higher side.

Meh! Decided to try out their brunch buffet. Turned out to be an expanded buffet for new year’s weekend at $30 per adult.
We landed up at opening time but the buffet wasn’t ready until over 20 min later. To top it off there were about 35 people, so it was a mess when the buffet finally opened. Also if you aren’t in a bigger group, you don’t get seated anywhere close to the food.
The food looked good but was really heavy/ greasy and even a second helping seemed too much. The food tasted so so.
The space itself is run down with missing and stained ceiling tiles. The men’s urinals were within an inch of overflowing and only one of the 2 sinks was working. Guests were reusing plates and seeing that’s it’s food eaten with your hands, using the same dirty hands to serve themselves on used plates.

If you’re looking for authentic Pakistani food, then this is the place to go. My wife and I eat here at least once a month. All their menu items taste great but some of our favorite items are Chicken Malai Boti (Must Order!!!) Chicken Tikka, Fish Tikka, Seekh Kabob, Nihari and Chicken karahi. Make sure to order the sesame naan also!
On weekends they also offer Pakistani Nashta buffet, which includes unlimited Halwa, Aalo sabzi, Keema, Chanay, Puri, Dahi, Achaar, and Chai. It’s the best when you’re craving halwa puri.
I’m happy I discovered Kabab House in Kirkland, it’s easy for me to drive from Bellevue and eat here. The owners are super friendly and always take great care of me and family. Highly recommended.

I am so conflicted about Kabob House and their Lahori Nashta. There are things I loved, and things I hated and so they get a 3-star rating from me, minus one for bugs.
First up, the Lahori Nashta is NOT a buffet in any western sense. It's a light brunch of Lahori favorites meant to supplement other ordered items. Also, you need to be prepared to eat with your hands and the puri (or order some naan) in a traditional manner because there are no other utensils except spoons.
The orange halwa (rava kesari?) is outstanding; sweet, glutinous, and comforting with a hint of green cardamom and almond. The lamb and chana were great, too, but both rather oily.
Not as oily as the puri fresh out of the fryer, though. That was too oily. Ridiculously oily. It needed to be properly drained. But even then, all I could taste was old fry oil. It coated my fingers and made a mess everywhere as I tried to use the oil-logged puri to scoop up halwa and chana.
The chai was great, but the garlic naan wasn't crispy at all. If you like fluffy soft naan, this one's for you. I prefer the crisp of a tandoor-baked naan, personally.
They lose stars for the oil masquerading as a puri, but also for some uncomfortable service decisions. Everyone was seated as far as possible from the buffet and we all had to cross the entire restaurant and each other to get to the steam trays. Too, the lack of utensils for westerners was weird. For me, I found the lack of a bowl or small container for the yogurt to be the strangest service choice. Personally, I would have preferred raita to yogurt anyway, but the lack of a way to put it on my plate without it going everywhere was... odd.
Staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, but the bug crawling across one of the tables dropped their cleanliness score to zero.
So to sum up, this place feels and tastes authentic. Western palates and prejudices might not enjoy the food, service, and ambiance but if you're from Pakistan you'll probably enjoy the Nashta along with other ordered items.

I recently dined at Kabab House, and I have mixed feelings about the experience. The restaurant itself was tidy and spacious, with ample seating for both small groups and larger parties. The ambiance was pleasant, and I appreciated the effort they put into maintaining a clean environment.
The staff at Kabab House were undeniably friendly and accommodating. They greeted us warmly upon entry and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. However, this friendliness seemed to be contradicted by their lack of flexibility when it came to customizing the menu. I was disappointed to find that they were unwilling to make even minor adjustments to the dishes, which is something I have come to expect from many restaurants.
On the positive side, the service was impressively quick. Our orders were taken promptly, and the food arrived at our table without unnecessary delays. This was a plus, especially for those looking for a quick meal during a busy day.
Unfortunately, the biggest drawback of Kabab House was the pricing and portion sizes. The menu left me perplexed as I observed the substantial difference in prices compared to other Pakistani restaurants of equal caliber. For instance, a simple Naan was priced more than twice what I'd typically pay elsewhere, and the portion sizes were surprisingly small. A glaring example was the Seekh Kabab – at Kabab House, we received only two pieces, whereas other restaurants often serve four for the same price. This trend seemed to permeate the entire menu, leaving me disappointed with the value for money.
What was truly frustrating, however, was the discrepancy between the listed prices and the final bill. I felt deceived as I discovered that the prices were subject to change, and the actual prices were higher than those advertised. This left a sour taste in my mouth, as I ended up paying significantly more than anticipated for each item I ordered.
While the food quality at Kabab House was undeniably good and carried an authentic taste, I found it hard to ignore the fact that the pricing and portion sizes left much to be desired. It's clear that the restaurant has potential, but unless they address these issues and make their offerings more reasonable in terms of cost and size, I'm hesitant to return. It's my hope that they consider reevaluating their pricing strategy to match the value they provide in terms of taste and authenticity.

Very cozy and decent restaurant with classic Hindi and Pakistani gazal playing in the back.
The food was great too. We ordered Peshawari goat karahi, goat biryani, and garlic naan. They were all yummy and spices were on point.
Also the person greeting in the front maybe an owner seemed very humble and accommodating with our orders.

I had an amazing dining experience at Kabab House Kirkland! The food was truly outstanding. From the delectable garlic naan and flavorful paalak paneer to the mouthwatering chicken kabab and tasty kheema, every non-vegetarian dish was a delight for the taste buds.
While the vegetarian options were a bit limited, the quality and taste of the dishes more than made up for it.
The restaurant's ambiance added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. It's a welcoming and pleasant environment that's perfect for a memorable dining experience.
Moreover, the service was top-notch. The manager went above and beyond to accommodate our request for a private space to celebrate a family friend's birthday, making the occasion even more special.
Kabab House Kirkland is a gem, combining fantastic non-vegetarian food, a great atmosphere, and excellent service. I can't wait to return for another delightful meal!

I visited Kabab House in Kirkland, WA around 2:45 PM, just 15 minutes before their afternoon closing time. Despite the late hour, the service was impressively quick, and the food was excellent. We ordered the Chicken Biryani and Peshawri Karhai with Naan, and to our delight, they also gave us complimentary Rabri. The owner, Bina, was present and ensured we received top-notch service. She was incredibly sweet.
I rarely forget to take pictures of my food, but hunger and engaging conversation with Bina got the best of me. However, I managed to capture shots of our delicious leftover food in our hotel room. Definitely recommend this place for great food and warm hospitality!

Even though we were late(like 30 min before close) to this place, they received us well and were ready to serve us.
Everyone here is empathetic and energetic who want you to have the good experience and great food off course.
Try the biryani here. It is zabardasth. We loved it. Carrot halwa was great as well.
The owner and servers were nice people and were ready to give recommendations. The food arrived on an average time and the place itself was neat and clean.
We will be back to try many more dishes and kabobs next time. Kudos!

Tandoori Chicken
Grilled meat is obviously the main feature on the small but decent menu. The rating is given against the context of expensive prices.
The chicken was perfecrly prepared, tender and juicy, but I could not taste that it was cooked in a tandoor. Same for the naan which was warm and soft with crispy edges, but no tandoor flavor.
Butter chicken had just the right amount of spicy level.
Biriyani was delicious.
Veggie samosa had good flavour but filling was meager. When I cut it open there was a lot of empty space inside the shell.
The food is good but for the prices I would go elsewhere.
