Visited the food truck and was surprised at how reasonable their prices were! Got the spicy poke with garlic edamame and it was delicious. Some of the best poke I have had here in the Hillsboro area! Kama'aina is a nice, quiet restaurant with tasty food. If you pay with cash, you receive a small discount. Portion sizing is great. They give you PLENTY of food to make sure you're satisfied by the end of your meal. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 4

Awesome place in cute little Forest Grove. The food is authentic local (Hawaii) style. The service is friendly. The decor and music totally evokes Honolulu memories. Every time I come to FG (2-3x/year) I make sure to eat here at least once. Cannot say enough great things about this restaurant. I really wish they were nearer to my home! The food reminded me of when I was at Hawaii. It was so good. The pork was amazing, and their mac salad is the only one I like. The coconut shrimp has great flavor and was the perfect level of crispness. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu. A nice quiet place with a calm laid back atmosphere, the reggae adds to it all. The food is fantastic and the service is great. They do a great job making you feel welcomed and fed. An AMAZING Hawian restaurant. The service was spectacular and the food was delicious! My wife had the Aloha Pack specialty and I got the BBQ Beef with Extra Beef. Ordered the Poke shoyu Salad and Salmon Katsu on the side. Highly recommended this place. You wouldn't expect a restaurant out here in Forest Grove, but entering in the restaurant felt very high quality as if you went into a high quality restaurant! The place is clean and modern taste. Went in needing Loco Moco. I left greatly satisfied. First off, I'm really picky about Mac Salad. It's not one of my favorites, but some places make it great. Most, it just gets left as a lump on my plate. I enjoyed their Mac Salad! 5/5 there. Everything else on the plate was just as good. Just discovered this while looking for something different without the busy atmosphere that downtown PDX offers. Although did a to-go option, their food is delicious and rightfully portioned. Prices are reasonable and there is lots of meal combinations. When nearby, try it and you’ll be happy with the food. Service Take out Meal type Lunch
