We went here for the first time and were immediately very friendly greeted. Very good atmosphere and very spacious place with inside and outside seating as well as a bar. Many big tv screens for watching sports events like German soccer or Springbok Rugby. Friendly waiters and good quality food. Nice German Bauernbratwurst for starter and the Cheesy Chicken Schnitzel for main course. Great size portion and at a special price of only R79, really worth your money. Good beer 🍺 assortment. A huge shoutout for the super friendly staff. Food was very good and the venue clean, neat and very modern. Lots of TVs to watch the rugby with enough tables to accomodate all your friends en some more. The food at Kapstadt Brauhaus was good, I had the Halloumi burger which comes with an option of a side. I opted for the 2 hot veg, which was butternut and spinach and I was pleasantly surprised it came with a few onion rings. The burger itself was a beauty to behold, and the halloumi was tender to bite into with a crispy outer coating. When it came to the sides the hot veg was average but the onion rings were better. Our waitress was fairly attentive but did disappeared for periods of time so we couldn't wave her over to ask when our meals would be ready. I think it took close to 30-40 mins for the food to arrive. The atmosphere at Kaapstad brauhaus is always great and is such an aesthetically pleasing place to be with the astro turf exterior and the comfy interior booths. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Had the worse service ever. Walked in hang around the entrance to be seated, a waiter said sit where ever you want, sat down and waited for 15 min. Moved to where there we more movement and waited 15 more min. Spoke to the manager and finally got service. Ordered drinks and food that did take a while to arrive. Other than seeing our waiter for our drinks order and bringing our food, we didn't see him. When we were finished eating I had to flag the waiter down for the bill, we waited 20 min and no bill came. We got up and finally the waiter saw we were leaving. Most of the night there were 2 waiters hanging around the enterance having a good all chat and browsing their phones. I put this down to bad management as the manager sat at the table next to us chatting up storm with her friends for more than half an hour Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

What a vibe! This place stays awesome. Fast service from waiters, food hot & good, lots of young people around late on a Saturday night. This Brauhaus is miles better than its counterpart in Paarl. Please note I am NOT a youngster so see my review in context... For the young crowd this may be the place to be, but certainly not for me. I go because the beer (I drink Castle Lite draft) is always ice cold and "fresh" - love it! Also great pizza! The rest of the menu - not so good (have tried a number of dishes and not for me). Again... the younger crowd may like it (but then it is rather pricey). If you have not been - by all means give it a try! Great place to blow off steam after a hard week's work. Easy to communicate with new people, lots of live music and great service from the team.
