I bought a regular chicken koththu from here and it was delicious as expected. The portion is more than enough per person. It would be good to add more chicken with flesh than the bones. 😉 The vibe is different and awesome. The staff is very friendly and supportive. Keep up the good and delicious vibes.

Stopped by a quick brunch. There are very nice and friendly people in the restaurant. Very thoughtful too: the waitress saw me washing hands and immediately gave me a paper towel. They actually care about customers and this is heartwarming.
Preparing food took a lot of time though, but it was fresh and tasty.
They have a buffet as well, looks sooo good! Unfortunately I’ve noticed it after I already made my order. There were many different options of curry and all of them seemed delicious.
Restaurant has selection of bakery and fresh juices too. Vegetarian options available.

We have chosen this place due to very good reviews but were totally dissapointed. For such a price they have here you can get much more larger and more tasty food in Dambulla. This is not a place where I would come back.

Katagesma is a very nice and delicious Sri Lankan restaurant in Dambulla and should be visited by everyone who makes a stop in Dambulla. There is a small menu and the staff is very friendly. I had chicken Koththu and a mango banana smoothie. In addition, I was asked in advance if I liked it spicy or not - which I appreciate as I am not a spicy eater. The portion was more tham enough. If I would come to Dambulla again I would definitely eat here again.

We visited Dambulla for 2 nights and ate here twice! It seemed to have more of a buzz than anywhere else, such friendly staff, and always customers!
Make sure to ask about the buffet option which is only around 500 Rs! Really delicious food and staff that care about your experience. Oh the club sandwich is good too if you fancy something more western, and very cheap at 900 Rs!

The whole meal was good, And it was comfy place, the waiter even took care of us when we’re looking for wifi, nice coffee, only wish their fruit juice is cold and has more taste
