Quaint atmosphere, complete with a library and a fireplace room. Delicious homemade desserts with specialty tea and coffee drinks available. Cafe style lunch menu is also available during lunch hours starting at 10:00 a.m. The only reason this is a four-star rating is because they completely forgot my husband's order. However, when asked about it, they did make it rather quickly and discounted it by 50%. The establishment is relatively new. We will check back again. Absolutely yummy 😋 food and very unique fair for the area.

I love what this place brings to a small town. It provides community great opportunities to be in the present with others. The meals at 1st glance can be view with eyes bigger than stomach decisions. Considering not typical overloading options. Just the right anount of sweet and savory. Portioned efficiently not to leave you unable to move from your seat. The employees are wonderful with customer service. Over all I love the courage this place literally brings to the table.

Cheesecake Slice
I've been frequenting this cafe now since they've opened at this new location. Everytime I am greeted with a smile! The staff are among the kindest i've ever been around. They remember your name, recommend things to try and what to pair with the different items! It really takes the experience over the top! Paired with the atmosphere this cafe is beyond worth a visit and I will continue to recommend it to everyone that asks me where to eat!

The dessert is decadent + perfectly balanced! Loved, loved my first experience at this sweet cafe. Having just moved here, I am delighted to find a cafe with delicious espresso and decadent dessert.
I had the flourless chocolate cake with a latte and the combo was 👌🏽 The environment is super cute. Highly recommend!

I visited Kaysi on 2-11-2023 for the first time, and I'm glad I stopped.
Going into the bakery, the tables were full, and several people were in line. It was very clean and there was plenty of room.
I received a very kind greeting. She was very helpful and everything was marked. All of the prices were on the board right beside the baked goods.
A large variety of choices from cupcakes, cake pops, macarons, coffee, etc. Everything looked amazing. The price is perfect for specialty baked goods.
I bought several things to try and wish I had bought more.
The cupcakes I tried were a chocolate covered strawberry and vanilla sprinled macaron cup cake.
The chocolate covered strawberry was an amazing cupcake. It was light and fluffy with tons of flavor. It was the perfect amount of sweetness. I enjoyed every bite of the cupcake.
The vanilla sprinkled cupcake was very good. It was light and fluffy, and the sweetness of the cupcake did not overpower the flavor.
The macarons I tried were made perfectly. The macaron was called the chocolate fudge brownie. I have never had a macaron this amazing in my life. It was perfect. It had a sweetness, but it did not take the flavor away, and it had the right amount of crunch. Macarons are one of the best desserts you can have if baked right. Kaysi nailed it!!!!
I only had a little bite of the cake pop because we all tried the bake goods. It was really good and I will buy them again.
The location is easy to find, but depending on the time, parking can be tricky. There are different areas you can park that are very close by.
These kinds of places are hard to review because I could write several pages on the experience.
Any travelers or people in the area, this is a stop you will want to make time for.
Kaysi Bakery has a very talented baker who makes an amazing product. The last time I had this quality of bake goods was Pittsburgh.
We have been trying to find a bakery close by so we do not have to travel to Pittsburgh and found it here.

My daughter and I visited for the first time today. We walked in at 11:08, waiting for a few minutes to place our order. Four bagels with cream cheese and a cake pop to go. We walked out of the shop at 11:50 after I said something because I was going to be late to pick my son up. There is no reason what so ever I should have to wait forty minutes for four bagels that I never got my cream cheese on. We may or may not try it again.

Kaysi Cakes Dessert Company is an incredible place located in the heart of downtown DuBois. The space has been designed with intentionality and passion. And the desserts... incredible. The chocolate chips cookies are made to perfection. The cupcakes are exquisite. Hot Chocolate is so good. And coffee...perfectly pulled espresso shot. Can’t say enough good things about Kaysi Cakes Dessert Company. Once you try it once, you will keep going back!
