This was our first time coming in together and we enjoyed it. We came in on a Sunday evening. It was almost empty. Our server was friendly and they made us feel welcomed. It's set up like a small diner, a little cramped, and had a very quiet environment. The menu had SO MANY options to choose from-- it was a bit overwhelming. We order the Idaho style poutine to start and highly recommend it. James got the #4 and Jessica got the #6. Both burgers were cooked well and were tasty! The prices are appropriate for the portions. The sweet potato fries are thick. We think we may get takeout here sometime. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

My #5 had a hard boiled egg instead of an over easy like every other time i get this burger, and my fries had so much salt it was impossible to eat more than one, and i enjoy salt. Needless to say, i spoke to our server and she said she was going to remove the fries and speak with a manager about the burger (ate 2 bites of my entire meal) i was then notified they didnt have a manager on shift. They had to call and wait like 10 minutes just to get an answer, to which the manager told her to discount the price of an egg. Oh, to top it all off after triple checking with my server about removing the fries, she still charged me for them. Ive never been so frustrated by poor management, and i used to love this place. Anyways, double check your receipts, they apparently think its okay to give sub-par service and then steal your money! Waited forever for 2 burgers and fries. When our food arrived the burgers were cold. Asked for extra crispy fries, they were soggy! The pickles weren't dill they were kosher. All in all very disappointing. The sign reads best burgers in Lewiston. If you want fast good burgers in this city try Effie burger or Sharps. They won't cost you an arm or a leg either. Our server was sweet, and I'm not a needy person, but I did watch a couple wait at least 7 mins at the front without anyone coming out into the main area, so they left. My guess is they were short staffed. I got the nachos and was not disappointed, with great taste and such a large quantity. Small, hole in the wall family friendly bar and grill that serves the absolute best burgers AND home-made fries in the valley at reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and efficient, the food is excellent, and many, many beers to choose from including one of the largest selection of local area micro brews around. Absolute must try if visiting the LC Valley. Recommend the 'Local Favorite' burger with homemade curley fries and the local huckleberry beer, or River Red.

Always have a good experience at KC's. The food has always been good. The jalapeño popper burger is my go to. So good! The chicken fried steak was fresh beef. It was really good. The gravy was not my favorite.
