We had a wonderful dining experience at Köksbaren, a restaurant that offers a creative blend of different cuisines and local products. The service was impeccable, the staff were attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and elegant. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. We had the menu and the portions were just fine and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend Köksbaren to anyone looking for a pure and amazing fusion food experience in Umeå as it is probably the best restaurant in town Price per person kr 1,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Everything at this restaurant was perfection. This place really knows food, plus if you ask any local what the best restaurant in Umea is, they will say here. Plus the staff was so friendly and helpful, it made the whole experience amazing. Update - went back again and it was as good as the first time. We went here to celebrate my birthday with my husband, service was amazing! they were very kind and attentive, the waitress even recommended us wines to pair with the food. I'm a vegetarian, and they had quite a lot of options for me, about half the menu was vegetarian friendly. Will definitely go back for special dates like that!

Been there both for dinner and lunch (soup + hot dish incl) at two separate occasions. The decor makes you feel like you're invited in to someone's home kitchen. Cozy. The fish was nothing special, especially considering the meat. WOW that was worth the price. Very tender and savory. Small tones of simple spices. The dish lasted a long time. Also the sortiment of wines along with the warm-hearted employees deserves a 5 star and a recommendation. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

This is a place for you too experience if you love food and good service. You have a sommelier that gives you directions I'm the wine jungle. Very good food with super service and a wine list with all you need. You can also book the wine room for a special menu. Try this place and enjoy.

They made a tiny error that was immediately corrected in a smart way where I was served extra prosecco. Roasted oyester is not something I would ever try again but it filled the stomach and flavour wise had some bbq to it. My friend was pleased with bearnaise sauce and meat.
