If you want to taste authentic food, you have to stop here! The owner and his daughter cook simple, fresh and just amazing food. Veggies and herbs are straight from their garden. The choice is limited but you can be sure you will get delicious fresh meals. Domestic rakija is higly recommended too. Thanks for the best gastronomic experience in Montenegro! What a hidden gem! If you're used to eating tomatoes from a supermarket, then you'll be stunned by those you'll have here. They're as juicy and flavourful as they can possibly get. The main courses (meat or fish) are made upon the charcoal grill by the father, while his daughter delivers the best drinks and service. A diner we won't forget very quickly. Thank you, Stara Kuća. What a Konoba!! Been there twice and both times I found an amazing quality of food and a super nice staff (especially Garu). First dinner had a super good grilled fish with vegetables (from their garden) and the second time had a traditional lamb and veal slow cooked in iron bell, OMG! (to book in advance) Angela and Teodora (and Garu) have been very professional and suggested us the best they had in the kitchen available (no menu, which guarantees the good quality). Both times closed the dinner in the best way with their cheescake and homemade grappa. Will never forget this place, it has been one the best dinner I have ever had! Thank you so much! The service and the food were great. The food was delicious and the owner was extremely kind and friendly. It is definitely worth the drive. Even the bread was home made nad freshly baked. Everything perfect. One of the best and authentic food in 2 weeks Montenegro. You feel like eating with the family including the super cute dog. No menu, they serve what they have, fresh and seasonal. Prices are really fair. Definitely recommended - reservation also recommended. We are here for the second time right now. Must have place near the coast line in Montenegro. There is simply nothing wrong.
