Went yesterday for dinner. Spinach artichoke dip, crab cake and hot honey chicken sandwich were all great. Nice and very clean restaurant! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had such a pleasant meal here tonight. We were welcomed by just about every server and hostess in the dining room. I can’t believe I’m saying this about chicken, but it was fantastic. And my husband had the red snapper, which he said was terrific too. Finished it off with a very tasty key lime tart. Well done KP! Food was very mediocre at best. At a premium price. The place was recommended but I've been twice and left unhappy with the quality of the food. For a far, far better experience go next door to Patagonia (or really any decent restaurant). Steak was lousy. The food did not justify the price. I went here on my lunch break for take out. I paid around $28 for chicken tenders and a chocolate chip cookie. The cookie was served cold and without ice cream, leaving just a plain small cookie for $10. The chicken and fries were bland, personally I don’t see myself returning. Whether you live in houston or are in town visiting, I highly recommend you go check out this local hit! The food is delicious, the service is attentive, friendly, and accommodating, and the atmosphere is homey! They offer variety of dishes that everyone can find something to satisfy their cravings. I had the vegan plate but I substituted the impossible patties for their homemade veggie patty. So much flavor! The salmon salad and the fish and chips were also a hit at our table. The skillet chocolate cookie was devoured. Bottom line, go check them out! I strongly advise to make a reservation! Hot chicken sandwich was hot temperature wise but not spice level. The salad I got was fine but a bit bland, nothing special. Service was very good. Overall I don’t know why this restaurant is so beloved, it’s decent but with so many places in Houston I don’t think I’ll return. We had the pleasure of dining here last night for the first time. While we didn't get to meet KP, we did mee RP ( a great manager who we mistook as a customer, whoops)! We were definitely pleasantly surprised. The service was great, the food was great and the ambiance was great. Sometimes the simplest seasoning and proper cooking technique can coax better flavors. That is entirely the case here. We got a hamburger and a salad. Both were simple. The burger had no lettuce, tomato pickles or onions. It was meat, cheese and a dijonaisse. I immediately started judging...boy was I wrong. Perfectly grilled beef patties, good amount of cheese, great brioche buns and a well balanced sauce. You steakhouses out there charging $30 for an inferior burger have a thing or two to learn from this one! The salad my wife got was awesome! It was well dressed (like it had a good amount of dressing) but it was not an overwhelming dressing, it was perfectly balanced. Couple the simple great food with a neat little dining room and great service and you have a true gem! No wonder they have another location opening soon. Keep up the good work!
