First time to this location. Saturday Morning, primetime for Donuts, walked in & immediately noticed it seemed a bit dirty and just cluttered Walked around to the counter and half of the Donut case was empty! It was 8:25am on a Saturday! Waited behind two gentlemen that come to find out were having just a casual conversation about Non profits and college grants and etc with who come to find out was the manager, me er once did he make eye contact and or acknowledge that we, my 2yo, 14yo and myself even existed Waited 8min for another kind lady to finally ask us if we needed help Had to speak loudly to be able to be heard over their conversation at the counter, which we could not see due to it being partially blocked them talking in front of it Finally got our order and left. Not sure when they went downhill. I remember when they opened a few years ago how long the lines were and I hadn't been in a few months and was surprised by how bad it had gotten. This was likely my last visit to Krispie Kreme unless I hear news of some large positive turnaround. I came in on a Sunday morning which I assumed would be one of their most popular times. On the front door they had taped a paper showing their times and closing times had been scratched out to add new times instead of just printing a new piece of paper. Inside there were boxes cluttered near the seating area and what I assume was personal items from employees like phone chargers, an open bag of chips, a half eaten box of donuts and other trash. The majority of the donut selections were not available, not even donut holes. When I asked if they had a specific kind of donut the employee just pointed to the line and seemed indifferent that they were out. I wouldn't have minded waiting an extra 5 or 10 minutes if it meant I'd get some hot and fresh donuts off the line. They also didn't have the flavor of coffee we wanted and what did come out was extremely sweet. When I was ordering I had to keep asking the employee to repeat themselves since I couldn't hear over the loud metal music playing from the kitchen. None of the employees seemed like the really wanted to be there. I've worked in the food service industry before and I understand it's not the most glamorous job, but a smile and a sorry can go a long way.
