Famous for their Smoked Ham & Pork ribs (closer to Deep-fried Smoked Pork). Recommended by a friend & it was better than expected. Taste was delish but portion for the Pork dish was a bit small vs. the price. To order, the staff provides a Menu Checklist in Thai & additional Menu with photos only. English menu is available but not all dishes are listed so it is recommended to ask the staff for help as some menu weren't available when we visited. There are plenty of staff available so it was easy to ask for assistance. Was craving for local dishes and this came up on the recommendation list. Lotsa locals with us being the only foreigners (good sign). Food was not the typical fare u get - must try the fluffy omelette with salted fish( suspect there’s salted yolk too) and their aromatic fresh coconut juice! Great for the sweltering heat! Came in for a light lunch. The smoked duck with basil leaves is very good. It's too spicy for young kids though. The broccoli with prawns is so-so. Good place to eat with some hit and misses. Drinks were excellent. Very old school restaurant. Heard its been around a loooong time. Saw couple students in uniform working. - sunflower shoots was excellent. - garlic friend fish too hard - hoy jor was alright - fried mushrooms was alright, black pepper too strong but mushrooms fresh. - the omelette was good. Really good. But too much salted fish and they shld dry the salted fish first... (In sg/msia) the salted fish is dried and fried so it's crispy and the saltiness and smell is more contained. The salted fish used here is more wet type so more taste leaks into the omelette. Some parts are too salty. But other parts were lovely crisp and tasty. Definitely try the smoked ham and also stir-fried Chinese flower!! Great food at fair prices. Come in big groups so you can order a few items to share! The restaurant might be huge, but service is speedy and efficient. Really cleans restrooms are a plus. Parking is right in front and convenient.

Great Thai restaurant. It is well known for its pork but everyone I take ends up asking for seconds of the vegetable dishes. Try the stir-fried sunflower sprouts and the stir-fried moonflower. They are wonderful.

The food here is super wholesome, sunflower sprout and wild mushrooms are must order, if you like meat, the smoked pork is super delicious too. Smoky tender grilled pork. Some of the staff are believed to be family members as they are teenagers in school uniform, the service they provide is genuine and place gets busy during meal time despite been such a big space, the place is filled on a weekday dinner time.
