Come here for tasty hamburgers, bacon and chicken sandwiches if you are hungry. To try good biscuits and tasty ice cream is a truly nice idea. Guests don't highly appreciate tea at this fast food. Krystal is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Prices here are reported to be fair. This place is known for its cool atmosphere. But google users haven't given this spot a high rating.

**UPDATE** Just came here on a Monday at Noon, ordered 1 burger that's it...got told it would be a 10 min wait for the grill to heat up! Hours say open 24 hours so why is the grill cold? Even if open at 7am shouldn't the grill be hot by noon? And how do you do a breakfast menu with a cold grill?? Poor management and employees as well! Took my business down the road. It was Sunday when I visited and only 2 employees working so it took a while to get food. My burger was good but luke warm. The chicken sandwich was really good but extremely SPICY beware if you get that one. We made a special stop here while traveling home to Houston from Virginia to get a 24 pack of Krystals. There are no Krystal restaurants near Houston. The service was very friendly! The food quality was good, but the burgers were just shoved into their boxes which made them deformed. Maybe I'm being silly, but I had hoped for better packaging for the remainder of our drive home. The staff at this location really bad, no customer service 😒 wrongly priced menu items they refuse to correct. Spoke with manager and just like the first clerk I spoke with was not in any way curttious. He knew prices were wrong and chose to do nothing about it. Manager very rude! Acts like she doesn’t want to work. Didn’t offer our drink while she was cooking the burgers. Didn’t have Ice Tea after we all ready paid for it. When I asked for the manager, she said yes. I told her she was very rude, and we will not be coming back. This was probably the worst 'fast food' experience I've had so far in this state. Waited over 30 minutes because we ordered the over priced chiks along with the crystals. The crystals were obviously made first so the bread was complete mush. The lady at the drive through was SO rude right off the bat and just had a disgusting attitude for 0 reason. On Dec 29, 2023, during a 12-hour trip from Texas to Florida, I stopped at Krystal's with my brother, a franchise I've cherished since childhood. Unfortunately, upon entering, I immediately noticed bickering among coworkers, expressing dissatisfaction with the previous shift. As someone with a culinary degree, I found it unacceptable when served food I hadn't ordered and then informed it was due to a lack of preparation from the earlier shift. Having worked in similar high-pressure situations, I understand the challenges of skeleton crews. However there comes a point when you learn from continuous issues and you begin to take accountability for your shift, addressing known issues upon starting a shift is crucial. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different results. If you know the previous shift never does X,Y, and Z check on those situation as soon as you get to work, unfortunate yes but someone has to take accountability and actually care instead of complaining. And It was disappointing to receive a substitute without being asked, with staff attributing blame instead of taking responsibility. The disrespectful and uncaring attitude was disheartening. I was apprehensive due to other reviews but this was my last chance to get a Krystal on my way to tx. No regrets as restaurant was clean, clerk very friendly and attentive, and manager / cook helpful as well. Prices were lower than one I ate at in ga several days prior. During my travels from Florida to Texas, I usually enjoy excellent service at this Crystal's location. However, my experience on December 29th was disappointing. Upon entering the restaurant, I overheard employees arguing about the previous shift's shortcomings. Despite placing my regular order for chili cheese fries and hotdogs, I wasn't informed about the unavailability of regular chili until receiving my plate. It's frustrating to pay for something I didn't want. The blame was shifted to the prior shift, but they weren't present to inform me about the chili shortage. Perhaps improvements in shift change procedures are needed. It's unacceptable to sell a customer food they didn't order. Despite being aware of the ingredient shortage, they served what they had, making me pay for it. The meal arrived cold, and the hotdogs were subpar. I hope a manager can reach out to me, possibly salvaging me as a customer. However, if not, I understand, but I'm requesting a refund for my order of six chili dogs and two chili cheese fries due to the lack of proper communication about ingredient availability and the improper preparation. Waited too long in the drive thru for my order to be taken, no dine in service available, doors were locked! One woman working! RE: I was not in Augusta, Sir/Ma'am! I went through drive through, and the lady at the window had a horrible cocky attitude towards me. After 30 minutes of sitting, I went inside and asked what was taking so long. I got cursed out by the employees, yelled at, and they refused to give me my food.. There is no management, there was no customer service, and I can’t get in touch with corporate… The employees also told me I was banned from ever getting food from the Slidell store also… It amazes me how people like that can still have a job after treating customers the way they did.. I will never return to this place ever again…
