Anna Cafe is the new name.
We liked the food but we have some concerns about the restaurant
P250 for Chicken Biryani with Basmati Rice
Perfectly spiced as expected.
Could use some pictures of India and some ambience. There seems to be no sense of decor. Coat of paint and some simple lighting. Just the one electric fan for 4 plastic tables and stools. Clean the windows and door.
If you are charging over P100 per meal/dish, then you should get better value. And there was no menu, just a banner on the wall with pictures, no prices.
No complimentary water, nothing on the tables. You should welcome your guest with ice-cold water in a pitcher and glasses OR free hot Indian tea, as am option. Greet the guests, ask how many people, give them a menu amd offer water or tea. You should show us to the table.
My wife paid P25 for a hot tea that they didn't serve us until after the meal was finished. Plus they only offered sugar for the tea, way after they served it when we talked to the owner.
Provide a small container of sugar with a teaspoon so the customer doesn't have to ask. Perhaps have a tissue holder, ours just flew off the table by the fan.
Maybe use a table cloth, as one of the first tables we sat had drywall chips or something. Perhaps use a curtain to cover the bare windows, and create a cooler atmosphere.
Looks like a Sari-Sari if you peaked your head inside.
No offer of Indian Drinks like Mango Lassi or Yogurt Drinks. They had no cold drinks, I had to go down the road to get cold soft drinks.
The chicken Biryani came with nothing like Indian salad or toppings.

Ordered via FoodPanda. The thing about Online delivery is that you can't complain or request for something else. For the total order of P470, the packaging, or let's say plastic used was so unappetizing. We were hoping more for its serving. The yoghurt sauce was like water. We'll never order thru delivery again. Though we'd still give the resto a chance for dine-in if ever, because the food was okay.
Horrendous. Really terrible. The samosas we ordered does not meet expectations in terms of serving size and cost. I was provided with mayo as dip instead of the traditional Indian ones. Totally disgusting.
Tasty fried rice, clean eating area in a casual setting. Also the cheapest meal I've had in a while in the Philippines at a sit-down restaurant. Great if you're looking for quick, decent food
