Not only should Galerie d'Art Damgaard be visited, but also L'Atelier. French cuisine is what this restaurant boasts. L'Atelier might be recommended for good salads. One of the nicest places at Essaouira. You can chill and have a good coffee during the day. They have a boutique for handcrafts (fancy and original items but prices are expensive) as well they organise cooking classes. I highly recommend l'Atelier to try and visit. A hidden gem in the old medina, the industrial rustic deco gives the shop a unique calm and welcoming vibe. We had a cappuccino and freshly squeezed orange juice with cookie as a sweet, everything was fresh and tasty. If you're looking for a unique and stylish cafe experience in Essaouira, then look no further than L'Atelier. This charming cafe boasts a truly artisanal decor. The attention to detail is impressive, and you can tell that a lot of thought and care went into creating this space. Although the music may be a little too loud for some, it doesn't detract from the welcoming and friendly atmosphere that the staff creates. They are incredibly hospitable, adding to the overall experience. But of course, the most important thing when visiting a cafe is the food and drink, and L'Atelier certainly delivers. I tried a chocolate cake - it's simply delicious, and pairs perfectly with the fresh and refreshing orange juice. All in all, L'Atelier is a gem of a cafe in Essaouira, and is definitely worth a visit. Whether you're looking for a quiet spot to relax, or a lively and vibrant atmosphere to enjoy with friends, this place has something for everyone. I had a lovely green detox juice. Just what the doctor ordered. Quaint shop in the back w some legit items to buy. Not much food selection. Just beverages from my experience. They had a cooking class going on in the next room. Very cool! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
