This a place I highly recommend. Jo‘s family is so welcoming, the food is super delicious and you should definitely ask for their cookies! You can feel that jo is the center of the community and can ask him about anything in Ometepe! We even got a super friendly and cheap taxi driver to San Juan del sur. btw jo is multilingual! Really delicious food! I came here for dinner on a Sunday even though google says it is closed and it was so fresh and very tasty. The best local meal I’ve had yet in Nicaragua. This costed 150cordobas too. Service Dine in

I wanted to eat somewhere authentic and this place is perfect :) I just asked for something without meat and got some delicious vegetables, platano and rice. Cute place! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Perfect place to eat delicious, local, fresh food and smoothies if staying in Balgüe- especially if staying at El Pital and want something cheaper, (located just opposite the entrance to El Pital on the main road). Super friendly family that owns this local restaurant and there are veggie and vegan options too. Definitely pay a visit!!

I was here, with a group of crazy germans . Normally they cannot be satisfied. But here they were totally happy and enjoyed the national food. We'll be back on the way back from our trip. We love it.

Loved Jefecitas place. Very nice place and fresh, local food. Even vegetarian and vegan options and not far away from El Pital. Totally recommend going there. Service Take out Meal type Lunch
