I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant celebrating the bday of one of my best friends. The ambiance was the perfect setting for a special evening. The menu offered a diverse selection of delicious dishes, and the food exceeded my expectations. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and the presentation was impeccable. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. I can't wait to return. Highly recommended!

The restaurant setting was inviting over all with a pretty dining area and good parking but the food and service were just ok. The server was friendly but wasn’t around for most of the meal and didn’t bother to check in. The lavender lemon drop and expresso martinis were tasty but not very strong and the martini glasses were small. The Caesar salad was fresh and the best part of the meal (there was a $2 split plate charge). The lobster tempura appetizer was our second best dinner item. We had the eggplant parm with spaghetti, which tasted of too much nutmeg, and the lasagna bolognese which had more layers of noodles than sauce, meat, and cheese combined. The service was slow and we didn’t bother to look at the desert menu. Love the look of the place but unfortunately the food and service didn’t match it.

Wonderful service! My wife and I cane here for our anniversary, and the food was excellent! I loved their mussels marinara! Our server, Will, was very attentive to our needs and went out of his way to make sure our dining experience was ideal. Our table was a bit wobbly, which he noticed, so he came back with something to put under the table leg to stop the wobbling without us asking. Atmosphere is what you'd expect at an Italian family restaurant: loud from conversation among patrons of larger table sizes. Some may not like this experience while dining, but for me, it brought me back to Sunday dinners at my grandparents' in Philly! Many staff members make it a point to chat with you to make you feel right at home! Parking can be a bit tight, but not too terrible as long as you take your time getting out. This place is very popular so be sure to make a reservation. Overall I enjoyed dining here and will definitely come back!

Friendly and Clean . So wonderful to see a restaurant busy helping folks celebrate the Christmas season. The food was better than expected. The service and ambiance were fantastic. Desert was delicious. You must try Hot Love. It was over the top. What impressed me the most was The Owner actually greeting people as they came through the door. Also I lost count of how many people came in to buy gift certificates.

Really very good.
I booked a reservation thru Resy and made a note that I requested a table near the fireplace - they actually read the note (not all restaurants do) and accommodated my request without making any fuss or saying anything. Kudos.
Service by Ibrahim was exemplary. He’s a professional - funny, attentive, knowledgeable on the menu, quick…everything you want in a server. The restaurant is lucky to have him on their team.
My guest and I had the arugula salad (10 out of 10), Screpelle Soup (8/10 - it was first served barely lukewarm; I told one of the food runners/servers…he thanked me for telling him, apologized, and scurried off to heat up the soup - once it returned it was PERFECT…I’ll be dreaming about that soup for a while).
Bread basket was ok. At first, only very small end pieces of crusty Italian bread…but we asked for more and they delivered. GOOD olive oil and cheese for the bread.
Entrees: chicken massimo (wow - 10 out of 10), and chicken saltimbocca (8 out of 10 - lacked flavor; I would have liked more prosciutto for salt, and the sauce could have used something to kick it up a bit; maybe a squeeze of lemon, I don’t know, but it was somewhat flat).
We were too full for dessert.
The place was packed on this Sunday evening, and for good reason. Happy to support this local, small business with owners who are hands on.
Download Resy and make reservations - you’ll need them.

Excellent food and service. A true 5 star experience. Noah, our waiter, went above and beyond all night. The onion soup was the best I’ve had and the Timballo Di Teramo was filling and delicious. The food came out quickly and the atmosphere was perfect for dining, with some nice music in the background. I will certainly be back.

The food was good and the portions were good. Right at the get go, I presume it was the person in charge, gave the hostess a bit of an attitude. I found that very off-putting.
I'm not sure if this is normal and strategic but they put out bread AFTER we put in our order. Had I known that, we wouldn't have ordered an appetizer. Coincidence or business strategy - you decide.
Service was very slow. Parking is tight for larger vehicles.

Stopped on a whim driving home late with my wife. Motivated to stop when I remembered hearing my Dad talk about the food.
In a world of flavor mediocrity, and culinary convenience, la locanda brings old world panache into the modern age.
White table cloth service at a reasonable price for the quality of the offerings and service.
Flavor abound.
Extensive menu.

Wheelchair accessible.
Style you just dont see anymore.
It was an absolute pleasure to dine.

Ordered takeout for lunch. The food is overpriced. The portions are small. Ordered Chicken Parmigiano and Spaghetti and Meatballs. The chicken was tough. The Spaghetti with both dishes were small and tasted like box pasta. You only get two meatballs when you are charged the dinner price. Bread was basic and supermarket quality.
