The food was really good, although I wish I tried the fish. I had a steak which was very good and my partner had the rabbit, which I would definitely recommend. First time here with a friends recommendation. Absolutely phenomenal service that was constantly attentive and taking care of us. We ordered a large fish to share with 6 people and although it took a while to cook, it was worth the wait. The environment in Valletta is absolutely phenomenal. Would definitely come back, be sure to book a reservation. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you want to try local food and a great wine, you must visit La Sfoglia. It's located in Valetta old centre. The service was excellent🤩 We tried the famous rabbit dish with potatoes (it's specific for Malta) and we highly recommend it, was absolutely perfect 🥰 . They also brings you home made bread 🍞. Also you have to try lobster pastas with tomatoes, absolutely delicious and perfect cooked. The restaurant is centrally located in Valetta, so it's very convenient no matter where you come from. I was lucky to just arrive there before 8pm and soon after all tables were filled up. Service was very promptly. 5 mins after ordering, the oysters and prawn tartare came already. They were super fresh. They didn't push you to order. In my case, they told me to order the appetizers first and see, which is good. The servers were all so friendly. Last but not least, the fish soup they made was very rich with a lot of ingredients. I don’t know where to start. Fantastic service! I don’t understand those reviews, which say bad service. The waiters were very friendly and attentive. Even though the seats outside were all taken. The food was very delicious! Nice tuna tartar with basilikum as a starter. Also the mussels were tremendous! I highly recommend! 👌🏻

Really really good food here. I had the traditional Rabbit and my husband had the beef fillet. Delicious. Not a good selection of Maltese wines and I’m guessing the server was relatively new.
