Food - excellent , service - excellent , atmosphere - excellent , value for money - excellent . I was suggested this restaurant by my Nephew , and there was absolutely 0 regrets. There is not one negative thing we can say about this restaurant . We were a table of six, we all took something different and we all loved it. Food excellent . I am an ex catering worker , so for someone like me notice faults very easily, no fault. Food absolutely perfect , very tasteful, cooked perfect, great portions and to top it up the service Was top notch, friendly servers, super professional and reminded me of what a restaurant in Malta should be like, which unfortunately it is a dying breed. Service with a smile. Highly and highly recommend this place. It will be my restaurant to go to when in Malta . We had a lovely visit to La Stalla. The fillet steak was cooked to perfection, and just how I like it, so no fault there. The spag bol was also a beautiful dish. Dinner on a rainy, midweek evening so it was very quiet. Menu offers a good selection. Home made burger was delicious and the steak was cooked perfectly. Lovely meal at La Stalla. Prices very good. Everything cooked to perfection. Big portions. Owner very friendly and let us vape even though there were no tables available outside. Staff were kept busy. Best meal we had in Malta. Hubby had king prawns that were huge. Got about 6 with rice. Had ordered chips ad we didn't know they came with rice. This is a hidden gem for anyone who wants gluten free food. The pizza I ordered was delicious and freshly made to order. Tastes like home made dough and not the usual packet pizza base. Staff were very helpful and service was quick and efficient. Gluten free spaghetti and penne is also available. Feels like a traditional Maltese restaurant with locals and tourists as well as a busy take out service. Quick and efficient service. We ate a pulled pork pizza with jalapeno and pasta with shrimps. The service was excellent, very kind and helpful. The small terrace was lovely and the food was also tasty. The only annnoying thing were the lot of flies, because we were sitting outside, but that problem is everywhere on Malta. I was also very happy, because I asked the waitress for hot sauce and most of the time the maximum you get in other restaurants is Tabasco sauce. We got two types of hot sauces and extra chili for my pizza. All in all a 10 out of 10. Definitely recommend! My friends and I came here August 1st and had a good experience. The lasagna, focaccia and pizza were good, but those who ordered carbonara were not very pleased with the sour taste it had (which was not normal tbh).
