This cake truly is a delicious dessert. The combination of the caramelized crust and creamy center creates a delightful contrast of flavors and textures. It's no wonder that the Basque burnt cheesecake has gained such popularity. If you have the chance, I highly recommend trying this out!

my friends suggested this smoke house for lunch a couple weeks ago and i was hyped up after reading all the reviews online the moment i stepped in i thought i had the wrong address because the shop has limited seats and the horizontal seating arrangement makes it difficult for a group of 4 to chit chat - and there's a smoke & barrel (without the 's') which is also located in central ordered the detriot-style square pizza which was cheesy and crispy the ribs were not bad especially with the special homemade sauce; those who love spicy food should give the sriracha sauce a try the brisket on the other hand was a disappointment, it was tough and way too chewy that i had a hard time cutting them with the wooden knife the side dishes and the wrap were not spectacular and if i were to revisit again i'll go for the avocado & gouda sandwich

As a cheesecake lover, I would say it’s a greatest Basque burnt cheesecake I have ever had in HongKong. Love the texture halfway between airy soufflé and creamy cheesecake~ 😋😋

Goood brunt cheesecake with the appropriate sweetness and texture 🍰 The pound cake was average and a bit dry tho. The seatings are not comfortable at all

Nice Basque burnt cheesecake with creamy texture
I can't believe we paid around HK$200-HK$300 per person for counter service and wooden cutlery you can barely cut the meat with! The ribs were tough. Brisket was good. I tried the pastries before – Basque burnt cheesecake good but the croissant was not. Probably won't be back :(
your food in the restaurant is good & your cheesecake is very good but the staff, the way they handle an order is impossible. I have ordered from them twice now and each time it was a hassle to get your order for pickup. Who needs it? I wil never order from them again. There are other bakeries that sells equally if not better cheesecakes in HK. Who need them?

It has wonderful cheesecakes but customer service is truly wanting. There are 2 kinds of staff here. One that is super adaptable and customer focus, another that is super unhelpful and won't even respond to basic inquiry that was "Can you please cut the sourdough in half?"
