Come here for a meal after visiting Downtown St. Charles. Here you can try the Italian cuisine. Most guests recommend trying perfectly cooked fillet steaks, Italian sausages and halibut. Finally was able to get in after trying for a while lol they're always booked so that was a great sign! The overall vibe walking gives old school bar restaurant with low lighting, soft music playing. Staff very welcoming from the second you walk in. The bar was a little busy on a Saturday night took a while to get a drink and by then our table was ready. Our waiter was awesome and made some great recommendations! Will definitely be back! LA Zaza Trattoria is a fantastic restaurant. My wife and I celebrated her Birthday at this restaurant. There was not one part of our dinner that was not perfect. Even our waitress was awesome. So, the only issue we had was that the restrooms in the restaurant are not sufficient for amount of seating inside and outside the restaurant. Once they find a way to rectify that issue, this restaurant will be perfect. We highly recommend LA Zaza Trattoria for your next dinner out. As always, be safe in your travels, and if you if you happen to get that empty hungry feeling in your tummy. Always stop and enjoy a meal. Went here for the first time for our anniversary. They are redoing whatever outside so the view could have been better but that’s not this businesses fault. Food was delicious! Very big portions. Moscato wine was very delicious. Dessert was to-die-for! My dish had the spinach on top and it was soooo good! Buttery and very tasty! Good Italian dishes. I had the white fish and thought there was too much sauce, it buried the fish. I want to taste the fish, should not need that much sauce. Caesar salad was below average, pieces of Romaine that should have been discarded and the dressing may not have been made from scratch, short of flavor. No one raved about their food. One in the party said that the pasta seemed to be boxed purchased. Great service and atmosphere. What an adorable place, especially around Christmas time. The food is amazing and well priced for the portion size. My husband and I spilt a pizza and a pasta and it was more than enough food. When we told the waitress we were splitting she even had the kitchen staff serve it on two plates which I love when restaurants do. Cute date night spot that I can’t wait to go to again! Sunday June 18, 2023 Father’s Day My son made a 6 pm reservation for my wife, i and him to celebrate Father’s Day. It was the first time at La Za Za for us. We checked in at 5:50 and were immediately seated at an outdoor table. Lisa our server was at our table within 1 minute of being seated to take our drink orders. Since we were having wine with dinner, we all had sparkling water. We were going to have a gluten free pizza as an appetizer, but Lisa promptly returned and told us that us that was not available. She made a couple of recommendations and we selected the Melanzine Griglia, egg plant stuffed with ricotta, mozzarella & parmigiana cheeses and topped with a tomato basil sauce and mozzarella cheese. I can no longer say I don’t like egg plant, it was fantastic! There was also a bread basket with a bowl of salsa for dipping. We all ordered a glass of Justin Cabernet wine that Lisa recommended and it was quite nice. For entrees my wife ordered the 8 oz Filet with roasted potatoes and fresh mixed vegetables. Lisa expertly described the options for how well done the Filet could be cooked. My wife choose medium well and it was cooked exactly as she wanted. My son ordered the 16 oz Ribeye special, also with roasted potatoes and fresh mixed vegetables. I ordered the Vitello Sassi, pan roasted veal with sautéed mushrooms, artichoke hearts & garlic in a light brandy sauce with a side of linguini. All of these ingredients blended together perfectly. I am a big fan of artichoke hearts and in this case they were the best I had ever had. I would give them 6 or 7 stars if that was an option. For dessert my wife was stuffed and passed. My son & I both had the tiramisu and it was great. I want to highlight our server, Lisa. She had a great personality and talked to us for several minutes about non-food topics. She knew the menu very well and made great recommendations. She checked on us frequently so we were never waiting or wanting for anything. Finally, La Za Za is expensive, at least to my family. Plan on spending a Benjamin ($100) per person if you get a cocktail, appetizer, wine, entree, dessert and coffee. So La Za Za will be reserved for 2 or 3 special occasions per year. I’ll definitely look forward to them. Came to ZaZas for my wife's birthday and we had an amazing dinner. Atmosphere and service was terrific. Staff checks in on you often. I ordered the Wagyu steak . It was phenomenal My wife tried the whole chicken with potatoes, which was delicious. For dessert we had the coffee crumble cake with pecans and a scoop of ice cream. I'm a dessert kind of guy and let me tell you....it was top 3 all time desserts I've ever had! It's simply amazing. Great place. Will be back! The food was amazing and it’s an overall beautiful restaurant. The service was great for the most part but it did feel a bit rushed, not a huge deal though. The only thing that I felt was bothersome were that the tables are very close together so I felt as though we were also having dinner with the people next to us, the tables are also very short. It made it a bit uncomfortable as I am a bit tall and if you’re a lady wearing heels as well it could be uncomfortable. But all together was an amazing dinner venue. ZaZa’s is one of my all time favorite restaurants. The seafood is amazing and service is always top notch. The Chilean sea bass was buttery and delicious. Get the crème brûlée for dessert! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food here was so so good. The location and ambiance is too. Also the service was also good. The prices are very high but for a once in a while occasion it is worth it. We went here during the pandemic of 2020 in August and they had both indoor and outdoor dining. We requested outdoor because it was a beautiful day and was sat withing 15 minutes. I ordered the Rotolo and my Wife ordered the Petto di Pollo Milanese. They were both amazing. For desert we ordered the tiramisu which was also amazing. Overall, this is a guaranteed hit for anyone who deserves a special dinner. In our case it was my wife's birthday. One tip I will say is that the online reservations are indoor only and do not allow options to reserve a seat outside. We booked a reservation and put in it a special request to sit outside and when we arrived they said that's not their policy. Luckily for that day the wait was only 15 minutes to sit outside at 530p. If you want to sit outside, I would still book a reservation just in case the wait is too long for outside so you'll have the option.
