Kampung style! The location is quite deep inside from the main road. Have few selections of food from laksa, western, pan-fried food etc. Decent selection of drinks available such as cendol, ABC, teas and coffee.
The stall famous for laksa but i personally think that it was not worth the vibes. You can find better laksa elsewhere. Laksa taste is normal but the soup is too watery. Not enough fish blend inside the soup. I ordered 1 big and 1 small bowl of laksa and 1 set of chicken nugget. Laksa comes with boiled eggs( found out it was an optional), condiments of bird eyes chilli and otak udang. The nugget taste close to nothing. I think they using cheap chicken nugget.
The stall also lack of hygiene. I saw the from the drink section when they making ice blended, just using bare hand touching the blended ice. The same bare hand without washing, will touch everywhere. They should introduce hand glove to their worker for handling food.
The price of food is reasonable. For big bowl of laksa only cost you RM6 while small at RM4. Add an egg will cost you extra RM1.
Overall if you want to spend an evening in lubok merbau, maybe you can give this stall a try but if you are looking for real laksa, there are so many stall selling better laksa.

Arrived here around 3.30pm on 2nd Dec (Saturday) and the place is overwhelming crowded. By 4.20pm all food on the menu had finished and they had to turn potential customers away.
The laksa here is unique cos’ it is made of wheat flour instead of the usual rice flour. The gravy is light and it tastes delicious.
Besides laksa, they also serve fried rice, keropok lekor, cendol, and few others. A great experience for us here. Alhamdulillah…

Bagi saya laksa dia biasa² saja. Nothing special. Cendol out sbb sy dpt cendol beku. Manis saja tapi tak lemak. Tak wangi gula merah. Ansari Cendol Taiping still the best.

Ask for laksa pulas if you want to try the famous laksa kayu api.
The laksa was very tasty.
The nasi goreng udang was marvellous. You can taste the kayu api fried style. Plus tak kedekut udang langsung.
Friendly staff and very helpful in providing tips and information on their menus.

Hidden in a lil quiet kampung. We found it! Stopby on the way heading into Royal Belum . Nice setting kampung style shop laidback .
The laksa are made freshly daily in their own kitchen. The gravy too cooked in an open wood kitchen. It is a traditional way of malay cooking in the villages.
I just loved the gravy, light not thick or rich with fish but tasty! Reasonably cheap ! Try their ice kacang too sedap! Oh their traditional cakes baulu & kue kapit are also freshly made daily.
Just remember they close on Tue. Best to call before going ya.
Laksa was great but not too my liking. Road to the place is very small. The gravy is very light and the laksa is good. Its home made and very different than the normal laksa
