Wonderful place with great food, drinks and of course people. Every dish is really delicious (I tried everything 😁)! Atmosphere is great for breakfast or lunch, same as for working or having fun with friends! I highly recommend Layback for chilling and having really tasty meal! Catching some positive vibes while enjoying the delicious food! The Layback Café is super clean, the food is super tasty (European standards), and how they prepare it on the plate, just like a perfect image and just cries for an IG foodie post. The service is super nice and fast, you will order within minutes and the food will be prepared fast as well. The water is there for free on each table. The atmosphere is super chilled with some nice music in the background. You can choose where to sit, either on the rooftop or on the second floor. I would recommend it, which I also did during surfing while talking to others (non guests). Come around if you have the chance and try a great coffee and an avo toast? Let’s enjoy! good for photos, but not place to get food. Instagramable, nice roof top. Good atmosphere. coffee is so so , flat white is basically latte, on avo toast avocado spread is very old oxidized, I customized my toast with extra eggs and scrambled tofu, but it doesn’t mean i You can give me a Old expired avocado spread, specially that it’s not a something imported and available here, mediocre food. Personally for me - food needed seasoning, Asked for salt - staff forgot. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

While we usually preferred local breakfast during our travel through Sri Lanka, we tried this place the first morning we stayed in Weligama. And then we went there every morning because it was so good! Also, the service is kind and fast and the ambient relaxing, you forget for a moment that you are sitting at the streets. The place was beautiful and calming. The food was amazing and most importantly the staff was so sweet to us. They were always there and made sure to assist us. A great place to enjoy some delicious food with a stunning view and loads of positive vibes I usually don’t write reviews but this time I just had to make an exception as the Layback Café has stolen my heart. The service is super friendly and fast, the food is great and its presentation on the plate is exceptional. After one week of having breakfast at the Café every single morning, my favorite dishes turned out to be Banana Buzz Smoothie Bowl, the French Toast and the Banana Bread. The atmosphere is super chilled, calming, familiar and goes hand in hand with the music playing in the background. Apart from that, the Layback Café is really clean and extremely aesthetically pleasing. I couldn't imagine that after so many fancy and delicious places at home city I can be that surprised. All dishes I had were amazing. Each bite was like a heaven. And portions are generous. Amazing place! The location is very beautiful, the rooftop has a nice view, modern style, eco-friendly, no plastic, they served us water in glass bottles and metal straws for drinking, the staff is friendly and kind, I went there for Christmas with my boyfriend, I was worried he couldn't pick up anything he truly liked since he isn't vegetarian and a fish lover, but the menu satisfied us both. The menu has vegetarian, vegan and also fish and meat options, the dishes are very tasty and also filling! The staff and food at Layback Cafe are both incredible! We stayed at layback for a week so we got to try a lot of the food, every dish we tried was delicious. The staff and friendly and service was fast without making you feel rushed.
