We had the Trio. The best of all, Oxtail, Chicken Pie and Bobotie. The rice was slightly undercooked, and I would’ve loved more rice. The wine we paired was great, the tastes of the 3 “smaller” dishes were good! Loved the rustic outdoor dining area with it's awesome mountain/vineyard views. Seating is comfortable with ample spacing between tables. Our waitron was Reagan Williams who was very attentive, friendly and efficient. Unfortunately the food was not consistently good. Eg the steak on the burger trio slider dish was dry and overcooked, with the meat trio dish the oxtail was still chewy (not succulent and fall off the bone) & the chicken pie was burnt, overcooked and dry, but the bobotie dish was tasty. Not quite what I expected this time round but the food was still good and the service attentive, replenishing drinks and clearing dishes. We were a party larger than 8 so remember that a 10% service fee is automatically added to the bill when it comes to considering a gratuity. Overall it can do with some sprucing up but overall it was an enjoyable lunch. Awesome location, beautiful facility. Food was lovely, but the service was Fabtastic. Jeandré & Clarissa attended to us during our full day workshop. They were friendly, efficient & very helpful. Also, Andrew jump-started my car (left my lights on 🙈). All the other staff, incl Mr Botha (1 of the managers) were very friendly & helpful. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I was absolutely shocked by their blatant disrespect and discrimination towards students. I would not suggest this place to anyone. The service was shocking. I went here for lunch with a few of my friends, there were about 15 of us. The second we sat down they asked if we were students and when we said yes they immediately started treating us differently. I felt so uncomfortable in this environment and will never be returning. I was craving for a bobotie on a rainy Sunday. We realised that there were not a lot of restaurants offer this dish on their menu. After googling, Le Pommier came out as one of the result near me. We decided to give it a go..and I can tell that I was super happy after fillin in my craving, but also because the bobotie was so good and delicious !! I definitely come back for just the bobotie 😊 The service was also good. The gentlemen (sorry I could not remember his name) who served us was friendly and knew what his doing. As a wedding photographer I get to travel to the best local spots for different events. Today I was at Le Pommier in Stellenbosch for a bridal shower. This place is very tranquil. It has a Vineland on the property and stunning mountain / great country views. The staff are supper friendly and the food is top notch. 👌 P.s these are cellphone photos

Lovely scenic venue. However, the Christmas lunch buffet was obviously of a "mass produced " nature. Food stations in 3 different areas, with no decent access for the elderly and disabled people.
