The Alaskan whitefish fillet was great, the renowned hush puppies hit the spot, and the unforgettable cole slaw hit me like a breath of fresh ocean air. The service was superb; our waitress was such a sweet lady, who returned several times to be sure we had everything we wanted. The atmosphere was what I love and remember about Libby Hills in Greensboro: the comfortable feel, the substantial sticky bottles of sauce at the table, the scattered beach decorations, and the lingering warmth of large deserted rooms that I can only assume are used for parties. I am honored to have been a guest at the last remaining Libby Hill. Words cannot describe how much I enjoyed my visit. I hope this place never closes. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very good food. I got the calabash shrimp Tuesday special for about $8. Pretty good service. The waitress did seem that she didn't know the order of the people who came in in order to seat them. So just be sure you pay attention to what order you were in so you get seated accordingly. Other than that, very good food. Tender shrimp and great baked potato. Went there about 3pm. I ordered the feast and deep fried mushrooms. To say I was disappointed 😞 is an understatement. The salmon and crab where above room temperature, you could tell last on plate, the rest was room temp and under Cooked. My dogs ate good. Had lunch here today and was very happily surprised with the quailty. Excellent food! The oysters were lightly fried (I asked for them that way), good sized, and delicious. The flounder filets were lightly fried and quite tasty. The koleslaw was finely chopped and perfectly seasoned; I could have had a bigger serving to enjoy. The hush puppies were moist and delicious. The price was reasonable. BTW, the service was outstanding; ask for Glenda. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Update: Had lunch here again and the food and service were terrific! Seafood is ok. Pretty good for anything around here considering we don't have much seafood in the area. We have to drive either 45 - 60 minutes to Mt Airy or over an hour to Martinsville. Got grilled chicken salad. Loaded with almost a whole cucumber and cherry tomatoes, in which I don't like either, basically a head of lettuce with some grilled chicken and onion.
