We bought most of our gifts home from there. The experience was really good owing to the fact that I speak a bit of russian. Otherwise it would have been tricky since the staff doesn't speak English. It's a family business and according to the staff, they make all the things themselves. You can buy mostly alcoholic drinks, but a couple of syrups and honey was also available. If you pick something out, you're offered to taste it to make sure you actually like it and you also get a bit of background information about the drink (provided you speak Latvian or russian). The only downside was that it is a bit pricy.

Absolute mystery and epic atmosphere. You should visit the place at least once and most likely you'll recommend to go there your other mates. 😉

Very nice staff, gave us lots of opportunity to sample things we were interested in to aid our decisions. Rhubarb wine, semi-sweet & dry, are excellent

Wide choice of wines and liquors, a bit pricey but very tasty. They offer some very unusual wines like dandelion and lingonberry, as well as crafted souvenirs - wooden plates and cutlery.
