We ate here three times whilst being on Cat Ba and every time was fantastic!! We tried the burgers, the baguettes, the pancakes and the grilled cheese and they never disappointed! The drinks are also excellent and well made! The coffee is delicious and the frappés were creamy and delicious too! They had fantastic veggie and vegan options, both in food and drinks, having different milks for people to choose from also!

Be clear if you want it vegan. Otherwise things in the menu labelled under vegan-vegetarian will ONLY be vegetarian.. this is my only criticism. Good attempt at hitting the vegan audience, but the chefs need to be more careful

Nice place!
They have a real coffee machine which is a big plus since we haven't had real coffee for a couple of days. The fruit bowls with granola and yogurt are nice, and the fried rice with egg(and extra tofu) was delicious(!).
One minus point is that they got our order wrong, but we explicitly pointed it out on the menu. Would recommend to go here!

My sister and I are both vegan, and we absolutely adore this place. I think we visited about six times in just four days. The food does take a bit of time, but it's consistently delicious. They have an Omni options but also a dedicated, huge vegan and vegetarian menu.
Rahul was always there to take our orders, and he truly stood out as an outstanding employee. His positive energy, friendliness, and kindness were always present. He made sure we were enjoying our meal and having the best experience every time.
We specifically loved the pesto baguette with tofu scramble, the creamy mushroom pasta (make sure to order vegan) and the creamy chilli pasta (make sure to order vegan). The frappes are also sooo good. And they have vegan condensed/sweet milk, as well as soy, oat and cashew milk (I recommend the soy though).

We came here looking for a nice vegetarian meal and we were not disappointed 😉
We ordered 2 fried rises (one with tofu and another with basil) and it was good. The size of the portion was also decent.
We also ordered 2 green juices 🥤 and they were also good.
If you are in the area looking for a cozy place where to eat and drink come here, you won’t be disappointed.

Fine restaurant at good prices and an interesting combination of cuisines. We liked the overall experience, but being very close to the street and having music that does not match the feeling of a coffee place, are minus points. Give it a try, we would say :)

Place is small and cosy. Food was amazing although we had to wait a bit (30min). Coffee was not good in my opinion, although that may be my taste as I drink 3-4 coffees a day. I like what they have done with the place and the atmosphere. However, the wooden chairs can be a bit uncomfortable after a while. Staff was overall friendly although struggled to make suggestions. I think it is a good place for when you are not in a hurry and you want to read a book or chill.

The food was good, and big portions. However, it took a while to come. We were waiting for at least 45-50min.
The service wasn't great, not sure if it was the language barrier but compared to other services we had in Vietnam this was a let down.
We ordered the fresh spring rolls, nodles and fresh salad with avocado, tofu etc. The spring rolls were delicious, as well as the noodles (although it was super hot). The salad dressing wasn't great though a bit flavour less. My partner didn't like the coffee either.
But what I was most disappointed was definitely the time that took for the food to come out as well as the service.

My experience was so great at this coffee!
I arrived on Cat Ba island with the intention of staying for a couple of days and finally stayed for 12 days and I ate 10 days for lunch at this place. The food is sooooo good. The service is morenthan excellent, especislly from Rahoul! He always welcomes me with a great smile and a friendly « HELLLOOOOO » and makes sure everything is absolutely perfect! Thanks Rahoul, I will keep good memories of my stay here. ✌️

Ate here several times in the week we spent on the island. The evening waiter is lovely and likes to dance around. The morning staff is a little more low key. Our party enjoyed Avocado Toast, Falafel Bowl, French Toast, carrot juice, smoothies and lots of yummy coffee. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options!! Highly recommend.
