Nothing better than you could get at the frozen section of the supermarket. Small portion for the price. $31.00 for haddock & clams. Burnt oil. All the food was coming out looking like the oil needed to be replaced. Been there twice. Second time was as bad as the first. Won't be back for a third. I have driven past this seafood shack countless times but never had the time to pop in. After having been in the UK for the past month, curiosity for the best of me and I was in the mood for comparison. Met the best of Scotland. Haddock, scallops, lobster rolls and snow crab rolls were exceptional as were the crispy fries w Malt on offer. Only things missing were curry sauce and Irn BRU to make it feel like a UK chippie. Was looking for a place to stop off of I-93 for a Lobster Roll and found this spot. Lots of great parking and not far off the interstate. The restaurant was clean and had a great environment. The menu had a variety of food. We ordered the lobster rolls with fries and slaw. We also ordered a side crab cakes. The rolls are served by ounces and have cute names to identify the ounces. The rolls were delicious, but they are served cold. I would have preferred a hot buttered lobster roll, but these were still delicious. The crab cakes were average fried crab cakes and nothing memorable. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50

Ordered haddock and clam strips , well the haddock was ok but no salt on it and the clam strips were just soaked in oil I had fried foods before and I always order clam strips at any seafood restaurant but I never had oil drip of it I was very surprised it wasn’t over cooked or anything but the inside was so dry as if it was fried twice, just strange, the only thing that was really good was the french fries I usually don’t eat them but this time I didn’t because it was the only thing that was good from the whole order. Came here from far 1,5 hours drive just because was craving good seafood and this place had high reviews. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

A really great local place to get some amazing seafood. Everyone working here was super friendly, and they even gave us a free extra order of clams that they had which were the best part of the whole meal. The prices aren’t cheap but feel fair, definitely stop by if you’re in reading as it’s definitely the best seafood in the area with a small town vibe! Wow! What an experience this was. I had three fish and chips, fresh cut onion rings and a cup of the homemade clam chowder. I'm in town for the weekend and wanted a local seafood experience and I definitely received that. It was delicious. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for that local flavor option. There's no doubt in my mind why they've been in business over 40 years.
