It's a rainy, messy night. And we had 1 gift card left over from Christmas. So, we decided to eat at Longhorn. We put our name on the wait-list. Approx 1 hour later, we were seated. Table 51. We gave our drink order & an appetizer. About 10 minutes later, we ordered dinner. Our salads arrived, first. Our appetizer finally arrived. Then, our dinner. The dirty dishes were not removed from the table, before our dinner was served. We were out of tea & our waitress was MIA. My husband finally got the attention of a bus-person (who was watching the Duke-Clemson game more than working) and he took the dirty dishes. He also told us our waitress was helping with a big party & "pretty stressed out". So were we. Try eating barbecue ribs with no drinks. We finally gave up & decided to just come home. Another 15 minutes later, we finally see our waitress ... get a to-go box ... pay ... and leave. The food was good. The service lousy as hell. Our mood after dinner was as bad as the weather. I have always seen the sign for longhorn the long lines and the short reviews. My boyfriend and I went to longhorn for the first time yesterday. Parking lot was packed but plenty of spaces to park. We went in the atmosphere itself was very appealing. We was told it was gonna be a hour and 30 minutes wait. Of course we was like we got nothing better to do we will wait. It only took about 45 mins for them to sent us the text “your table is ready”. We get seated got our bread and butter which was delicious. Our server was so sweet and friendly. She was helpful and kept our drinks full. I got the porterhouse steak , a loaded bake potato and a 4oz lobster tail with a salad . My boyfriend got the Parmesan crusted chicken , loaded bake potato , and a salad. Our appetizer was the mustrooms they was out of the Parmesan spinach dip. Also out of the Mac and cheese ! But everything was so juicy and fresh. Food was delicious, atmosphere was great and our server was amazing. We will definitely be back for more hopefully to try the Mac and cheese and spinach dip. My husband took me to Longhorn in Spartanburg for dinner last night. We waited 20 minutes to get a table. That was pretty quick. Then our table was Nice & Clean. My husband didn't like the fact that the menus were a little dirty. Our servicer was named Shenna. She was more than great to us. She was on top of all of our needs. She had conversation with us. Shenna forgot our bread. But that didn't effect the review or her tip. My husband ordered the 22oz Longhorn plate with a loaded potato & seasoned rice. I ordered the 18oz T-Bone plate with Green Beans & Mash potatoes. My steak was cooked with perfection. My steak last night was honestly the best steak I've ever ever ate in my whole 30 years of life. I didn't like the side of Greenbeans because they tasted frozen & they were spiced with spicy seasoning. Miss.Shenna respectfully replaced them with another amazing side of Mash Potatoes. My husband & I ordered our steaks medium rare. Mine was cooked perfectly nice & juicy. My husband's was a little dry. Shenna our servicer again fixed the problem respectfully. We also ordered a Long Pour Strawberry Margarita & a Long Pour Mango Margarita. The nice Longhorn manager came over to our table & offered to bring us 2 margarita glasses because my husband & like to share our alcohol beverages together. We had a very peaceful & amazing dinner at Longhorn. When the restaurant was closing the friendly Longhorn Chief came over to our table to make sure my husband's second steak they prepared for him was at his liking. I highly recommend Longhorn in Spartanburg SC. I also recommend you recommending Shenna as your servicer. That girl was Respectful, very nice & professional at her job. She will most definitely make your whole experience very nice & pleasant. She will always be out Longhorn Servicer. My husband gave her a 40$ tip. Went out for dinner at 6pm, Ordered the Outlaw $30 steak with a side salad and baked potato. Worst steak. It was very chewy and hard. By bedtime I starting feeling my stomach heavy and bloated. I was up all night with stomach pains and diarrhea. Something was wrong with the steak. Not coming back again. Not recommending. Our food was delicious and fresh but the best part was the waitress. Didn't get her name but she was so kind and sweet and checked on us the whole time. We left her a $10 tip on our cc but it doesn't look like you guys will actually charged it because we signed after I told my husband to sign it before. Clean establishment, great service and food. We like the bread, Parmesan Crusted chicken, steaks, salads, excellent ranch and blue cheese dressings. It's a busy place so don't expect to walk right in and be seated but they usually are pretty good about getting us seated in an acceptable timeframe. I loved it. The drinks were delicious, we ate at the bar, still a very comfortable easy place to eat a good meal. I have never been to Logans on this side of town and had a bad meal or time. The steak was good but nothing special. The fries were cold. I was underwhelmed. It was my first time to visit Longhorn Steakhouse. I could probably be talked into going back with colleagues but have no real thoughts of recommending it to anyone else. Honestly, I just wasn't wowed. Ordered online to go curb side. Each member of my family ordered what we wanted for dinner. Each of us got a different steak. My kids have loved theirs however my boyfriends t bone and my ribeye tasted as if it was cooked in a steamer rather than on a grill. There was also a ratchet tastes to our steaks like the meat may have been on the verge of going bad. Steaks were ordered medium and medium rare. They were cooked well done. Tells me they may have known the steaks they are serving are going out. The sides of broccoli were also cooked in the cardboard to go container in a microwave. They were terrible and so under cooked it was like eating warm raw broccoli with no seasoning. All I could taste was the cardboard. No thank you. We will not be back.
