This place is right next door to the hotel we were staying at which was very convenient. City of Solvang closes super early but this place is basically the only place that stays open until midnight. They also have outdoor tables. We came at 8 and each got a drink. They have a limited list of wine, beer, and beverages. We sat down to enjoy the live performance by Jackson Gillies. Had an absolute wonderful time. This was Friday night. My friend had beer while I had rose. We had a wonderful time and couldn't wait to return. The next day, Saturday, places nearby had live music until 9 and this place was the place to be after 9. We came in and the artist was on break, however the person behind the bar told us it'll resume soon until 11 and $10 cover charge. I looked on the website and confirmed it did say $10 cover charge but we weren't charged the night before. Maybe they meant $10 minimum purchase? I'm sorry, but I'm not going to pay cover for a band I don't know when I'm going to buy multiple drinks with tip and tip the artist. For that reason, I'm knocking down a star.

Great music on a Friday night. Wish they had posted the cover charge somewhere though. We came quite late so $15 is steep for only an hour before they close around 11pm
A classy nightclub / bar that has a variety of musical talented musicians. From local street bands to famous guys including The Allen Parsons Project..Really !!!

Awesome place. Highly, highly recommended if you are in town. Listened to a singer songwriter night and the intimacy was phenomenal. The guitars on the wall were beautiful and the beer was cold! Please please do yourself a favor and go here!!

This was a really neat little place to listen to music. Beer and wine available and the restroom is outside behind the building where you'll need a #code.
Closed when we arrived (contrary to hours posted on the door and on Google), but looked very cool inside!

The best music ever ! The most fun ever ! The best staff ever ! Lost Chord is full of great musical surprises and wonderful people.
Good music cozy place the owner is cool and friendly bartender she's amazing
I went to this venue on 03/25/22. The concert itself was fantastic, in no small part due to the great sound system this place has. However, there was a party of six in the first row that were far too drunk for such an intimate venue. They consistently disrupted the opening performers: talking, yelling, tripping over chairs. They were warned by the performers to stop, but they continued to be disruptive. It was the main performer who, after his first song, finally asked them to be removed. They left cursing at him to his face, and one individual, having already been taken outside, returned screaming "never meet your idols" during the next song. I understand that the venue has limited control over how much their patrons drink, and I also understand that such removals can be difficult, especially in a place where those you are removing may be locals, friends, family, etc. Yet it was clear from very early in the concert that these people were going to be an issue, and it is unfortunate that the performer had to be the one to lay down the law. That put him in an unnecessary, embarrassing situation, one he apologized for despite it being clearly not his fault. This could have been managed by the venue's staff beforehand, and I would encourage them to consider their approach to such situations in the future.
Great, intimate little venue. Elise, the bartender, was extremely warm, friendly, and welcoming. Sound system is great (honestly surprisingly great for how small the venue is), and the sound guy is on point.
