We had lunch there. The place was really clean. It got crowded quick, this is the kind of place where you need to visit more than one time so that you can try a lot on the menu there were three of us we had the lasagna, pizza, and hot brown. The person Who had the hot brown said it was one of the best she’s ever had. The lasagna was good and the pizza was good. We will definitely be back. Our waiter was super. It was a great experience. Overall, it was a great experience. The food was good, but I didn't think it was anything super special. They made what I ordered and it was good, but nothing amazing. The Chicago pizza, though, wasn't quite up to par. As someone who travels all the time to Chicago, it had a deep dish crust, but it definitely wasn't as good as a traditional Chicago deep dish. Service and waitstaff were great and friendly, and the atmosphere was nice and cozy. If you want some solid comfort food, definitely come out to try! Amazing food. Fantastic service and very nice and clean place to enjoy a meal. The only complaint I have is not having a bigger stomach to eat more. You will not be disappointed. The pictures show half of a lasagna and half of hot brown. My fiancé and I shared and split our meals.it reminds me of my Italian grandma’s lasagna who was a neighborhood favorite when she cooked many years ago Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Salad

I decided to dine out at Lou Lou food and drink tonight. Our server Deborah was awesome, she is very friendly and quick. For an appetizer we ordered the bayou dip with pita chips - the dip was not our favorite. It is mainly cream cheese based with chicken + paired with the pita bread was a weird combo for me personally. I wish I would’ve tried the crab cakes instead. We got a To-go box with hopes it will taste good with chips later. For entrees I ordered the shrimp and grits with a side of she crab soup, we also got the Lou Lou burger with asparagus. The portions of sides were small & the asparagus was a 6$ up charge / a side cup of ranch +1$.. The shrimp and grits was Ok, the grits didn’t come out very hot so they tasted weird to me 😔. The she crab soup and Lou Lou burger both tasted amazing.. The soup was the best thing I had here, my boyfriend LOVED the burger. We would definitely consider coming back to try the desserts and deep dish pizza! 🍕 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Wonderful neighborhood bar and restaurant in the heart of St Matthews. Huge menu with tons of options - pasta, entrees, salads, sandwiches, pizza, appetizers, etc. We had drinks then the gyros and subbed out beef/lamb for chicken with broccoli sides. Delicious and filling. Service was friendly and fast. Prices are fair. We had a lovely date night out and will definitely return. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I personally don’t think that my appetizer should’ve been served with pita bread. But I took it home and enjoyed with tortilla chips. My steak burger was AMAZING. It’s what saved my 4 star rating 🙏🤷‍♂️. Margarita could’ve been stronger but my waitress was super friendly. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Shrimp and grits were great. Creamiest grits ever! Would happily reorder. Hubby's Red Beans and Rice were just okay but not to his taste. Seemed to be missing something in seasoning. Both entrees would benefit by including a simple small green salad. Also wish you could order just a cup of Gumbo. You could then combine it with one of the appetizers for a different meal expert. My homemade Bread Pudding and his Banana Pudding were both excellent. Having been to New Orleans and enjoyed its unique cuisine, I'm so happy to have you here. Server was super. Decor's a bit of a miss at giving one a true Cajun feel (St Matthews location). All in all we look forward to our next visit. Tired after a long day and visit to the Dr. wanted something different. Looked up this gem rated 4.9/5.0 on Open Table. It delivered! Our waiter Drew took care of us like we were the only customer! We had lasagna, black bean lasagna, and meatball calzones. All were excellent and large portions with a reasonable price. A great place to add to your list :-) Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Great service, wonderful waiter, had crab and french onion soup, and split a hot brown pizza! The food was good, but the service was outstanding! We will return! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Soup

I have heard a lot of this place , and it did not disappoint a bit. The food was spot on, the drink was good. Staff was nice and friendly. Parking is easy right up front. The whiskey selection is good too. Who would have thought to get authentic New Orleans food in Kentucky. We went in early, but the place got busy real quick. Food still came out quick tho. Well done, definitely gotta revisit again. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30
