Sooooo good! We both had the three piece which came with two sides. I got okra and green fried tomatoes. My husband got collards and black eyed peas. Our server, V, was friendly and on point! Ready to go back! The dessert options sound amazing but I was too full. We did have a taste of the carrot souffle though, and as a fan of carrot cake, that was a dream! If you're looking for southern comfort food, this is it! Everything about our experience was great. The fried pork chop over rice with gravy was incredible. The pork chop was juicy, thick sliced, perfectly breaded and so flavorful. The fried chicken was also delicous, juicy and fried to perfection. It reminded me of my mom and grandmother's cooking. This is a small kitchen, made plate by plate. You'll spend a little more time waiting for your food during peak times, but it is SO worth it. Our waitress was so sweet and they have a treasure box for kids who eat all their dinner. We already planned our next meal before we finished dinner. This was the best soul food I've ever had in my life. My husband has been everywhere in the south and nothing he's ever had has ever tasted this good; not even close. Easily the best fried chicken in our life. The staff is so nice and friendly, it felt cozy like home. Also the music was a VIBE.
