Lucky House is a no frills restaurant which is fine. I was driving by and I stopped for a quick lunch. Unfortunately, the food was awful. I ordered snowpeas with chicken. The chicken tasted horrible. The sauce was disgusting. Even the rice had a bitter aftertaste. It was by far and away the worst restaurant meal I've eaten in The last 5 years. Great local Chinese fast food place. All the great selections with their own twist on preparation and flavors. The fried rice that comes standard as a side is so much better then most places. It is actually fresh and has flavor and isn't dried, wish fresh egg. And isn't upcharge. Lots of lunch special options which Is a good portion with soup and egg roll. Food was okay, nothing too exciting with any of the dishes we ordered. The beef noodles were too sweet, as if a cup of sugar was added to the sauce and the noodles were limp and chewy. Not sure if we would try this place again. Service Delivery Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 3

It's really hard to find Chinese restaurants here in Surprise let alone good one.. I saw few people suggested Lucky House, so I decided to give them a try. Employees were very friendly, nice clean place with waiting area. I ordered chicken with veggies, some egg rolls and fried wonton for kids. I couldn't go during lunch hour, so all these for $20. Portion was regular to small size. Chicken w vegetables(🍄🥕🫑🥒🥦 and celery ) was good : to some people it might be a bit blend, but it was good for me. Fried wonton has stuff in it!! It's like small fried dumplings with less fillings. Use a sauce that comes with it. Egg rolls were pretty good, so my son finished in two bites. All in all it was good and will try lunch special next time

Best Chinese Restaurant in Surprise, hands down. The dishes were cooked with flavor and attention. Lunch specials are beyond affordable. Staff is kind and attentive. I appreciate the skill of the house chefs in the back and for not pushing a more Americanized menu. I will be only getting my Chinese food from this location from now on! I used to order here all the time he food was okay, Wok Fire is the best but it’s so far. Anyway, I haven’t ordered in a few months. Anyway, I placed my order today and my order total was well over $50. They used to give you a free entre for spending over x amount of dollars, like every other Chinese restaurant does. I was told they no longer do. I will now take that long drive to Wok Fire to get better tasting food. I came here for convenience and that was it.

Veggie fried rice was $10.75 & only had rice and broccoli, no other veggies. Spring rolls were tuff and hard to chew, yet not crispy. Microwave food from the grocery store is better than this. VERY SMALL PORTION FOR COMBO MEAL THAT WAS VERY HIGH PRICED $14 THEN I ADDED SWEET N SOUR PORK ANOTHER $14 SO THIS WAS $28 (FORK TO SHOW IT WASN'T ALOT FOR THE PRICE) Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I was working in the sun city area when it happened, fried rice craving! So I saw it had a 4 star review and online ordering so I thought perfect, and so was the food! Rice was amazing, has that wok hei flavor i was craving. Beef on a stick was tender as heck and not dry like some places. But the real star was the egg roll, that crispy crunchy wrap with the pork and cabbage mix.. dipped in some sweet and sour with hot mustard... perfection 🔥

I'm sad to say my review is not positive. So many people rave about this restaurant and so we decided to check it out tonight. We ordered the Mongolian beef, General Tso chicken (both with fried rice) and fried dumplings. Both entrees don't seem to have any flavor. We ordered the non-spicy version so I guess the seasoning must be in the spice. The beef is covered with onions (too many) and the dumplings have no flavor. Also, the fried rice is just white rice with soy sauce on it. Maybe I came on an off night but definitely disappointed and will continue going to Big Buddha.
