Madan Padaria is, without a doubt, my favorite bakery in Porto! While Foz boasts an array of excellent bakeries that I adore, Madan Padaria holds a special place in my heart. As someone who came from San Francisco, sourdough bread reminds me of home, and this bakery perfectly captures that essence. They offer a variety of sourdough bread flavors, each one more marvelous than the last. I typically purchase 4 to 5 loaves, ask them to slice them, and then freeze them so my husband and I can savor them throughout the week. Their cinnamon rolls are another delightful treat - simple, classic, and utterly delicious, without the addition of raisins or thick icing. These rolls sell out fast, and I consider myself lucky whenever I manage to get some. The cheese bread is equally outstanding, a testament to the super friendly Brazilian couple who run this bakery. Their cheese bread is authentically Brazilian and incredibly tasty. Madan Padaria is truly my happy place. Thank you, Madan Padaria! Service Take out Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This bakery is across from Pedro Lemos in old Foz. The baguettes are the closest to French I've found in Porto. The bread is artisanal and they have a wonderful but small variety. They can slice the loaves if you prefer. Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person €5–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

An amazing bakery! We bought our first loaf of bread from Marcela and Daniel, the lovely Brazilian owners. The bread easily beats most of the Swiss and German bakers that we buy from when in Zurich. It was a dark bread that tasted like a cake - perfectly balanced. It stayed fresh for 5 days. The owners explained to us that we can order bread to be baked to our wishes (mine are for very well baked). Top marks!
Found my bread spot 🍞 so delicious 🤤 I took a little corner of this baguette to try whilst walking home and went to the nearest grocery store to get some butter as I couldn't wait to get home 🩷

My first (and only) option for a natural, slow-baked mother-dough bakery. The best bakery in Porto, with a large option of breads! Check their website for daily menu and Instagram for special options!

Gem of an artesan bakery, well worth going out of your way to buy a loaf or several. I couldn't make up my mind what to buy and ended up opting for a pumpkin and walnut loaf which was superb.
Their bread is reaaally good, fluffy and flavourful. Their service is warm and pleasant! I do recommend them!
