Quite delicious Duck Curry and Duck Noodle. We started with Tod Mun Pla but have a bag in the freezer at home with the exact fish cake. The duck was cooked well, perhaps 2oz in my curry and my wife's noodles were slightly more at about 3oz. The veggies were flavorful, fresh and diverse with a medley of squash, mushrooms and pineapple. The host was gracious and kind, making a Thai iced coffee to order unsweetened. What a friggin' delight, across the board. Fresh rolls in rice paper had beautiful greens and tofu with a sweet, rich sauce. Satisfying without being filling. Massam yellow curry was like a cozy tuck-in, with purple potatoes, cabbage, carrots, and broccoli & cauliflower that was perfectly al dente. Lemongrass green tea tied the room together. Best Thai in Bellingham! The space is modern yet cozy with some beautiful art on the walls. Food is very authentic with a balance of flavors and not at all oily. Are dishes are very fresh and served hot. Quantities are generous and great value for money. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Friendly staff and delicious authentic Thai food. We ordered the satay gai as an appetizer, which came with very tasty sauces, and the phlaa koong shrimp salad was very refreshing. If you love pad thai but want to diverge from your regular order, I would highly recommend the chan pad pou dish (crab fried noodles with tamarind sauce), it is definitely my new favorite and I don't know of any other places that have this. New restaurant, nice food. Not outstanding- a B grade as one table mate put it. We had : Duck Noodles - bit bland but nice, a green curry which was nicely spiced, and a Phad dish with beef which was rated good (7/10). We’d come back if a group wanted Thai/Laos but may not seek it out. Wine and beer were limited but okay - bit on pricey side. Would not recommend Young coconut water...

My husband ordered to go. I had asked for a chicken Pad Thai. I took a bite and was really disappointed. Under sauced (very little flavor), no bean sprouts, no peanuts, no basil, but there was under cooked cauliflower and broccoli pieces in it (unexpected). I can appreciate that it’s an unconventional version of Pad Thai, but I would recommend noting that in the menu so people are not surprised (there seem to be more than one review noting the exact same thing that I did). We had the Phad Kimaow, isaan lemongrass sausage appetizer, duck curry, and Lao special. These were very delicious and flavorful dishes which were all very different from each other. My favorite dish was the phad kimaow. The thickness of the noodle balance with basil, chicken, and sauce was devine. The lao special is chicken with papaya salad had a nice charred taste and balance with the lemony salty fresh taste of the papaya salad. It was slightly bland, I have a preference for Laotian papaya salad. The duck curry was good too but it lacked meat. The issan lemongrass sausage was flavorful with a nice lemongrass and spicy kick, it is similar to Lao sausage. This was our first time trying this restaurant. Overall it m not sure I would bother coming back. I know I most likely just had a bad experience, and it’s probably not normal, but still… Came in and ordered food, three of us. Three meals and two me more to go. I’m pretty sure they lost our order, or just forgot to make it. After a couple of other tables that came in after us got there food we asked how long out ours was and they said they’d check. They vanished and didn’t follow up until a bit later when they brought it out. Didn’t really apologize but made excuses about being confused about the one meal to go. Normally I would have expected some sort of discount for the confusion, but instead they just quickly dropped off the check. Anyhow, food was pretty good, but just an overall poor experience.
