I made a reservation to come here for my friends birthday dinner. We didn't know what to expect, but the reviews were great! The restaurant was pretty empty but it wowed us in a big way! The atmosphere is so beautiful and welcoming. I love the high top tables and the flower decor. The food is amazing and you can tell they work with passion and precision. I am so upset we missed our last chance to have the fish tacos and monfonguitos and salmon one more time. The service is exceptional! We were so happy to have spent our money there and to have talked with the restaurant owner. She was lovely and hard working and had a great sense of humor. Her dad was super nice too! You won't regret the amazing mojitos de coco, the salmon with rice, the fish tacos or probably any other item on the menu. If I lived there this would be my once a week spot for sure! I went with my mom for a late Valentine’s dinner. I was very pleased with the aesthetic decor, it was really pretty. Our server was really kind, he gave us a sample of the Puerto Rosa drink and we loved it! The food was also delicious. This is a great place for conversation and just relaxing. Service was on time, professional and friendly. A great place to get interesting and tasty cocktails. My husband and I didn't feel like cooking last night so we decided to check out Maluwa Bar and Tapas. We looked at the menu online and main thing that stood out with their menu was that they had wine by the glass and not the typical "red or white"--they actually listed a nice little selection of wine varieties. We got there a little late so the place was pretty quiet. We were greeted by Bianca and sat in a booth. We each ordered a glass of wine and began to peruse the menu. Lots of unique options not normally on a menu in Puerto Rico! The tapas descriptions made it so hard to choose! We ended up ordering the Maluwa Bites and the cheese croquettes and then we got the meat lovers cauliflower crust pizza. The Maluwa bites were plated nicely and they were delicious. When she brought out the avocado ranch dipping sauce, I thought I was in heaven. The Cheese Croquettes were cooked perfectly and tamarind sauce added a nice flavor of Puerto Rico (we thought a pinch of cayenne/chili powder and a drop of lime juice might elevate the flavor even more!). The pizza was nicely cooked and flavorful. I loved that there was plenty of sauce and a nice amount of toppings--so much better than the local pizza joints do here. The churrasco was super flavorful although some of it was just a little tough--maybe tenderize or chop the pieces a little smaller? We still ate it because the flavor was great! and the leftovers heated up nicely in the oven for our lunch today. The owner, Keishla had an opportunity to come to the table and tell us about herself and her restaurant. She is fully bilingual which helped since my husband doesn't speak Spanish. Definitely check out this locally owned gem for yourself and support great dining in Aguada!

Came with one sister for tapas & drinks last week. Back again with another sister for drinks! The owners are so kind and attentive. Tapas & drinks are delicious and beautiful. Instagram worthy presentation. Come by and enjoy!
