Beautiful and tasty food, atmosphere a bit hot but nothing unbearable. I recommend mee hailam/spaghetti carbonara, price is around rm10-25, reasonable imo. 9/10 would recommend [unpaid review hehe] Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

In Kuala Kangsar for an overnight stay and looking for a good restaurant. We worked hard to find on then discovered Mama Hailam. We had a deli ious lunch and enjoyed it so much we went again for dinner. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the cooks (4 of them) appeared really happy in their work, the menu was excellent with a wide variety, enough to meet all tastes. I can highly recommend it. Easy enogh to find, go up the hill of the main street, turn right at the roundabout then sharp right then left. There is a small square where you can park your car. PS, they have a clean toilet, but as is the local custom take your own paperwork.

Great food at affordable prices! Good variety of food and drinks. Food brought back memories of my childhood and grandma's cooking. Highly recommended! Will surely come again.

食物鸡肉太干和烧焦，也许是早早炸边，还有咖喱鸡饭才三块🙄️太油腻。点了饮料服务员可以送错桌，各了几分钟才拿过来，都不敢喝了！食物贵分量少。是我吃过最不好吃的食物。 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch
