Cute little shop with quality drinks and food. Prices are also not unreasonable. We’ve been here multiple times and always enjoy it. This is a coffee spot we actually like sitting and chatting in. Also great proximity to the nearby college.

The Bellingham Maple Bar was incredibly impressive, with its soothing ambiance, cozy furniture, and welcoming design that created an unmatched sense of relaxation. In terms of coffee, the variety of choices offered at the establishment was exceptional. The baristas, who were courteous and considerate, made me feel genuinely appreciated as a customer.
I highly recommend paying a visit to Bellingham Maple Bar. You won't be disappointed.

The cutest coffee shop right by Whatcom’s campus! Such a sweet place to meet with a friend, study, and work on things! I love how they decorated and without fail the service is always very personable and genuine! I just love the coffee too!

This donut/coffee shop is super cute! There are a few large tables with benches and some smaller low tables with cushioned chairs - I liked the cozy feel at the small tables. They have a few other baked goods besides donuts too. The barista was really cheerful and made me feel welcome, fitting right in with the bubbly aesthetic. I got a blackberry muffin and a maple bar latte to go with. The muffin was amazing - it had so many juicy berries inside and the flavour and crumb of the muffin part was also very nice! There was a light crumble topping and I liked that it added some texture but didn’t overpower the actual muffin as some crumbles do. The maple bar latte was also delicious - it’s sweet (not as much as I thought it might be, though) and rich but made with quality maple cream so I found it didn’t have a sugary aftertaste like a lot of drinks made with syrup do, and it made an excellent treat. You get 50 cents off if you bring your own mug!

There are a lot of coffee shops around, but Maple Bar is something special. Meticulously clean, warm & welcoming, with vintage china and a gorgeous new espresso machine… the thoughtful decor is as subtle as the vintage logo - not distracting, just comfortable. This is a place to hang, connect, work, grab a shot & go - it’s what you want from a great coffee shop.
Staff are friendly & jovial, and the selection of sweets is just right as an accompaniment to a perfectly pulled espresso. So happy Maple Bar is here!

My mom, who perpetually complains her drink is never right, LOVED her coffee from Maple Bar. I swear she said it was yummy ever other sip!! Plus, their scones are super moist and tasty! Such a cute little shop and the friendliest barista! Will def be back!

Visit this coffee shop weekly (sometimes nearly daily 😬) and am always happy with my usual order and occasional breakfast burrito (from Cali Tacos) or donut or other treat (like baked goods from Antler Baking Co). Staff is always friendly and the shop itself is always super clean.
I have other shops that I might deem "best coffee" but this is the best in North Bellingham and constantly good.
