My recent visits to Marian's Bagels have been disappointingly marred by prolonged wait times and subpar service. Despite being a longtime patron since before the change in ownership, the last two weeks have left me disheartened.
On my most recent visit, the wait for our food was excessively long, with several parties being seated and served before us. It took over 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order, and after an hour of waiting, I reluctantly left due to a prior appointment. Although my girlfriend stayed behind, the service did not improve. The food was brought without any check-ins, and it was served at room temperature, half of it packed into to-go boxes without her request.
The explanation provided was a 'systems issue,' but it's disconcerting that this seemingly only affected our experience. A similar incident occurred two weeks prior, raising concerns about consistency.
To add to the frustration, there was minimal effort to rectify the situation. While my girlfriend was offered a bagel and muffin as compensation, the lack of proactive customer service was evident. I can't help but feel singled out in these instances.
I appreciate the gesture of offering my contact info to the owner, but I hope Marian's Bagels addresses these issues systematically to ensure a more positive dining experience for all patrons

Super busy on Sunday but service was quick. Waited about 10 minutes for take-out avocado toasts and oatmeal. They have their own homemade desserts, salads and cream cheeses. This lady was getting about 10 containers home! The avocado toast had plenty avocado, not slices, it was more like smashed and soft where you can feel the avocado 😋🥑 highly recommend. Oatmeal was so soft not flaky served with brown sugar and raisins on the side.
