This is one of the breakfasts I've eaten in a long time. Ordered it to go so we could take it to the snow park. I got the green chili burrito and my wife got the gringo with the buckwheat pancakes. Best green chili burrito in a long time, and maybe my favorite pancakes. Food was still very warm after our 20 minute drive in freezing temps. Fun, edgy, downtown old charm, hip and trendy Mexican food restaurant. I had a delicious chicken burrito called The Classic. I chose to have it “enchilada style with green chili pork” on the side and I was disappointed they charged $5 for this small container of green sauce on the side. I felt it was far over priced with that additional charge. The rice and pinto beans were rather bland, but the delicious burrito made it worth it. I would go again but order differently! Phenomenal meal. The chilaquiles were as good as advertised - corn tortillas scrambled with eggs, cheese and green onions with Christmas sauce (red and green) for me. Served with rice and beans, and good hash browns, and a soft flour tortilla. Really good, authentic salsa, too. HUGE portions! I can eat - and this ended up being two very good meals. Had great customer service from three different people. Quirky and cool vibe inside. Plenty of parking. Might have to wait for 15 min or so but we’ll worth it. Right across from the train tracks on Route 66. Can’t wait to go back. Second time here and delicious as always. Huge portions, authentic Mexican food, easy parking and fast service (but no rush to dine). A spot the locals frequent as well tourists. Great staff. Very good green chili with pork and friendly service. They have a limited beer selection, but the one we got was very good. They didn't have any chilled mugs, so the server put some ice in the glasses and "swished" it around to cool the glasses. Burritos are BIG. Recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

When one of my fellow chefs heard I was going to flagstaff this was the first place he put on my list. Then I got to Flagstaff and all the friendly locals insisted I do the chilaquiles. Let me tell you friend... they were 100% right. This place is fantastic! Everything had so much flavor and was just what the doctor ordered. The staff was super friendly/helpful and met all my requests. The pork was tender and juicy in the delicious "Christmas sauce". I asked for a side of salsa and it was fantastic. Martanne's was recommended by locals we had met, specifcally the breakfast burrito and the chilaquiles were must trys. I had the chilaquiles with chorizo and the red/green sauce. I love love love Mexican cuisine and this place did not disappoint. The portion was generous and the food was delicious! The art on the walls is beautiful sone by a local artist. It’s rare for me to visit a restaurant I would so no to returning to for a second shot but this is one I won’t ever return to. Per the small location and festive decor, I was looking forward to visiting this mom and pop type establishment upon walking in. I was was quickly disappointed when my family group of 9 was crammed into a table near the street side of the restaurant that would have more appropriately fit a group of 6. To boot, there were other tables they could have pushed together to have accommodated us more appropriately. Or service was less and our server was not at all proactive to help keep our too-small table decluttered. Next, we were shocked to find it was $5 per basket of chips and salsa. PER. The carne asada burrito I ordered was okay enough but certainly lacked the carne asada. Very little meat. My 2 year old granddaughter had Mac and cheese that came with a side of corn. The corn came out, still slightly frozen, in the small dish. My daughter, who had order chilaquiles, found that the chips used in her dish weren’t even the restaurant style chips…they were Mission White Corn Tortilla Chips, at best. In addition to the, the tortilla she received with her food also looked like a store bought Mission tortilla. At least my burrito had a decent tortilla! When we were finished and asked for 2 to-go containers, we received two paper plates with two small precut square pieces of tin foil. What?! When we received the bill, we noticed a 3.5% service charge. My son-in-law asked what this was for and the server told him it was the fee for credit cards. Who said we were using a credit card?! Very disappointing experience. Will not ever return to this restaurant. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

The food was out of this world! We ordered a burrito and a special of the day to go and carried it out. Don’t come anywhere near lunch time, it gets pretty mobbed. They quoted for 2 people a wait of 30 minutes, despite a table of 2 being open, and 4 bar seats being open (they said they were for singles only, so take advantage if you come alone!) - most likely not enough staff to cover the space that day.

BYO chips and salsa. Otherwise, it's $5.99 for a basket of about 20 chips and no refills. I wanted an extra 6" flour totilla with my full dinner and was told it would cost me $1.00. The poor servers are solely responsible for cashing people out. And, if you pay cash, and the server doesn't have the change to give you, you are out of luck. So, if you pay with your Visa (credit card), the restaurant adds a .70 cent surcharge. Roxie was our server, and she was great considering the parameters she has to work within. The ONLY redeeming thing was that the food was good.Whoever manages this place is doing a poor job. We went herebased on reviews. Maybe it's a local hangout..?!
